Does anyone own a Pick Me Up tool? It is by Silhouette. It is designed to pick up tiny things like beads and little pieces of paper. I almost bought one today, but wanted to see if anyone had used one. Should I go get it?

I have the quickstik (which looks exactly the same, and it's a little cheaper). It is VERY handy!

I had a couple of them and didn't like it.

One melted and left a mess (didn't even have it under the sun or left in hot places)
Another left a residue on my embellishments

So I found a better solution - The Embellie Gellie . It's clear - it doesn't leave a residue AND it doesn't melt! LOL!! You can also custom size the tip plus it doesn't crack in IL cold weather, Cathe! LOL!!

Thought I'd give you an another option. Good luck with your choice!

I'm sorry, but there is no way I could bring myself to support a product that contains the word "embellie" in its name.

Embellie = short for Embellishment :o) I use it too, it's versatile. ditto what Margie said.

I know what it means. It just kind of grates at me. So does "envie" for "envelope", moreso because "envy" is a real word.

I have to agree!

I feel like I'm talking to a 4 year old, "use your words."

One of the small reasons I don't own a "cry-cut"

I also use Embellie Gellie - it's wonderful for paper crafting. If you are working with heavier embellishments like rhinestones, you just use a slightly larger blob. The container seems to last forever, and as Margie said, it does not melt or react to the weather (it's been really humid here in Los Angeles).

And I use it for beading on my art dolls. I can't tell you how much faster it has made my beading process. There's a pic on my blog of it in use, if you are interested. http://www.iggyjingles.blogspot.com/2011/11/new-dream-d...

Another Embellie Gellie supporter here!

I recently completed a layout that used (84) 3mm rhinestones and I absolutely flew through placing them!

I also happen to own a Crop-A-Dile - another great tool with a silly/clever name. It certainly makes it easy to remember!

I use the Quickstick too. I saw a demo of it and it worked so well that I had to have it. It works so well when placing those little pieces of bling. :-)

I have two of them I love it! I have arthritis in my hands and it's the saving grace with those little beads.
