Hi Ladies,
So I've been reading the last 3 pages. Bren, I love your writing. Makes me feel good, too. Thanks for being with us. I hope your journey to AZ goes well and hopefully, you and Bon can meet and just relax and spend some time together. It will be good for both of you. You need this vacation and what better place to be than with your parents. Speaking of parents....
So, yesterday, I get all dressed up to go see my dad for Father's Day, instead of leaving, I got stuck working in the pizzeria. I like the fact that we're busy, but, I wanted to see my Father! So I changed, went to work! I was a bit upset and kept insisting I was going, even if it was at midnight! (My parents live 40 minutes away from me.) I did leave at about 9:30 and got home at 2 A.M.. PRICELESS!
Dawna, I'm sorry you're not feeling well. I hope it's nothing too serious. Thinking of you.
Susie, that is a beautiful card you made for Bon. It seems to "fit" her style. TFS! I'm sure she loved it.
Bon, hope you and your Boo made up and had a nice day for Father's Day with him.
Katie, sorry for the pain you're in. I hope that Medical card gets accepted and you can get the help you need.
Maggie, sounds like you have a very special family. Glad the day went somewhat well for you.
Joy, I hope you found peace with family to get through this "first". It was not a good day for my DH. I know he was feeling the loss of his dad. He didn't say anything, but he actions did.
Stef, All I can say is, "THANK GOODNESS FOR KATIE!" She is one very smart computer girl! I will check out your blog tomorrow. I am finishing up here and then, going to bed! Hope all is well with you.

Dear sweet ladies, have a wonderful blessed day. I love you all more than you know. Your friendship has been priceless to my life. My prayers include each of you everyday. I feel as though I have met each of you in person. It may be a virtural meeting but it is one of heart. Almost as thou our spirits have reached out and touched each other. Is that possible???
Got to get to working. I need my job to make up for all that money I spent this weekend.

Good morning!!!! Slept late! Plan on taking pics of my Ladies Diaries project...guess I should change outta my nightie before venturing out on the terrace, or not. One of the perks of being old, people tend to not question stuff ya do

Love all the wittiness here--makes my day! Your post reminded me of a photography boo boo I made one day. I have this antique hutch I usually display my latest creations on & many times I photograph from there as well. One early morning I'm snapping away so that I can get those pics in my gallery. My hutch has a mirror--and lo & behold, there in my photo was a bit too much of me (OK it was a lot of me)as I sleep a la naturele, the ta taas where right there in the mirror!!! Delete...delete, OMG!

OMGOSH Smart I nearly fell off my chair laughing. Figure you got to much pic of yourself but that much LMAO. What a great way to start the day with a laugh.
Well I am off, my DH Birthday is today and I am making Hunny Buns, Lasaugna then off to DQ to pick up a Reese Peanut Blizzard cake, ALL his favourites. Plus I plan to create alittle today my favourite company has annoucnce for the first time ever a DT call and I REALLY want in on this one so I have to pull out all the stops.

Had several pages to catch up on. Bon, Believe me, te stress on your spouse is taking a toll. And I ditto what everyone else says.
Do not eat red peper hot crackers at 11 pm on Sat night or you are sick all night & miss church Sunday morning. I made it last night though. Since Travis went out with folks at church for lunch - Father's day did not affect us that much.
THis weekend we have to make a trip to Abiliene so that will keep me busy & maybe I can just get over the 23rd.
My God is wonderful and gets me through each date. I really can't believe it has 6 months.

I wonder if Medicaid would cover acupuncture? If this problem persists like my sister said it would, eventually I'll see an orthopedic surgeon and s/he may say I don't need the surgery and encourage acupuncture instead. It will be several months before I can do anything about it, so until then it's just backing off the scrapping when it starts to hurt too much. I already have to have my mom straighten my hair for me, the squeezing of the flat iron is too much for my wrist to take. And yesterday my mom even had to cut up my chicken since I did some touch ups on my hair and destroyed my wrist, hand, and fingers for the day. Today is much better, though. And even better, sleeping didn't mess up my hair so no need to take a flat iron to it!  It's hard being a curly-headed, frizzy-haired girl, I tell ya!
Today is my first day of group therapy. It got cancelled last week so tonight I go for my first time. A little nervous, I always worry other people won't like me. But I suppose that's not why I'm there so I shouldn't worry about it!

Well I've chickened out on therapy tonight  I'm not sure why...I have been taking less of my anxiety meds than I usually do (the minimum dosage whereas I usually take the maximum) since money has been so dang tight we can't even buy groceries, so maybe that's the culprit. I'm starting to feel better knowing I probably won't go tonight and my dad told me to go ahead and take my full dosage. My mom is making her second trip to a pawn shop today, and I'm going to a clothing store that's like a pawn shop to sell a Kate Spade purse. I'm hoping I get at least $20 out of it. Things will be better next month, but this month has just been long and hellish money-wise!
I heard from the Medicaid people and they said I need to reapply, not appeal my denial. I didn't realize you could just put in another application, I thought you had to appeal any denials. But basically I was appealing their justified denial as they didn't receive any of the documentation they asked for, so I'm withdrawing my appeal and reapplying for Medicaid. It takes 45-90 days to get a decision once interviews are done and all the documentation and paperwork has been submitted. Not looking forward to this process but it definitely has to be done. No pain, no gain, right?

Katie, when you chicken out of going to therapy it's usually because you do not want to deal with something you need to deal with. I speak from experience from many years ago. GO!!!!-------->

Hi ladies how is everyone today.....
I'm happy to announce that I got hired at a produce warehouse. I will be posting checks and I will start part-time $9 not much but thankful because its better then what I have now , It will turn to full time in a few months. Hope it works out.....I start Wednesday.

That's great, Martica! Now you can keep looking without so much stress on your plate knowing you have some income. Sucks that it pays so little, though, for someone with your job experience that's not much around here, not to mention you're in Miami, I'm sure it's more expensive living there than landlocked Indianapolis
But Linny definitely has it worst when it comes to living costs...I've seen the house hunting shows, when it comes to NYC and California I can't BELIEVE the cost of a house or condo! I lived in Manhattan briefly and got to experience how much more expensive things are around there. I was lucky to get away with a lunch that cost me under $10! I took my lunch to work a lot LOL.

Real estate here is down right STUPID!!!!! A one car garage space....just a space to park a car, is going for A MILLION DOLLARS!!!!! The cost of rentals in my neighborhood has jumped up so high. I am about 10 minutes from Manhattan by either car or subway, so it's an easy commute and cheaper than living in Manhattan....but it makes the real estate market here very lucrative!
Finally ate lunch.....we have an abundance of fruit in the house. dh is diabetic, so he says no to fruit, but then he'll eat another carb....that being said...anyone wanna come by for fruit salad? I have cherries, mangoes, canteloupe, and honey dew.....LOVE summer fruits!
Ah.....oh I can't think of the term!!!! Like a secret passion....but that's not it....brain fart! Anyhoooo, what I'm trying to spit out is that the Bachelorette is on tonight....don't like the show, can't stand the bachelorette, and cant wait for it to go on! Go figure!!!!

Linny, I love summer fruit salad! I put fruit on my garden salads too with blush wine vinegrette...yummy! So why didn't I have one of those for dinner instead of McDonalds? UGH! I have no willpower. Had to go to CVS to pick up some photos and McD's is right next door. I've got to find another CVS! LOL

Martica - I loved it when I did check posting work I found it fun and I hope you do too. Yes 9 seems a bit low but honestly I've seen our company offer less and less for the same jobs as time goes so it's the market that keeps things lower at the moment.
Linny you crack me up girl - toss me some of those cherries.
Maggie you're not alone I have no will power either. I have beautiful fruit in my fridge and I slather on butter to an english muffin and chow down. Uggghhhh
