Well, I think my computer is finally fixed. I needed a new mouse. So far, so good.

Yvonne, I've been watching the Olympics as much as I can since they started. I loved watching the swimming and the gymnastics.

We're suppose to get severe thunderstorms starting soon. The sky looks ominous! Off to try and catch up in the gallery. Everyone have a great night!

So sorry Bren and Yvonne for your losses

I tried church this morning but the guys I know there (I know them from college) weren't there and my anxiety got the better of me not knowing anyone in a crowd of people. I didn't even make it through worship :/ Should have taken my medication before I left.

I've finally decided to go back to school as soon as we pay off my old college so they'll release my transcript. Depending on the credits and how long I have left to finish, I'm going for my associate's degree first, but may go for bachelor's.

My mojo seems to have run off on me, anyone got any extra?

Hi ladies. Bren and Yvonne,I'm so sorry for your losses. Sending hugs and prayers to you and your families.

My grand nephew was christened today. I got to the church just as everyone was leaving -- got stuck in terrible Cape Cod traffic on my way down!!! What should have been just under an hour took me over an hour and a half. On my way home, the skies opened up and the wind on the highway was scary! Of course, it all stopped as I pulled into my driveway. Oh well. . . .

Now I'm tired. Off to laze on the couch for an hour before I get hubby up and off to work. See you all tomorrow. I think I'll pour myself a nice relaxing glass of wine . . .

Maggie happy your computer is up and running. The storms came through here about 8ish....a lot of lightening and thunder and rain....it's calm now.

Been watching the women's volleyball...it was one of the rare sports I actually enjoyed participating in! But can someone explain to me why some of the teams find it necessary to where micro bikini bottoms! Really, I don't need to see yer "plumbers" crack! Okay, who said I'm just jealous!!!!! Come on, raise ya hand!!!!

Hi Friends,
I am just getting home from the worst weekend in my life. As all of you know I have been getting ready to open a new pizzeria. We will be open Tuesday. That's not what I want to tell you. Friday, after stepping one foot in the door, my son CALMLY tells me, "Mom, call Debbie because Uncle Tony has been in an accident and is being life-flighted with head and chest injuries." I fall into a chair, in tears, and tell my son to dial because now I'm vomiting and shaking so bad, I can't even talk, or walk. I'm trying to make my way to my husband to see what happened. Nobody knows. I grab my keys and off to hospital I go, 45 minutes away. I get there as the helicopter is landing. After 3hours, we finally get to see him in the trauma. The worse 3 hours of not knowing what to expect. I find my brother with 6 broken ribs, broken clavical, broken scapula, punctured lung, tubes coming out of everywhere and not knowing if he is going to make it. The more he was in there, the more things they found. He was out for 3 days and today, he finally was able to open his eyes and speak. He had a 4 wheeler accident, but thank the Lord, he is on the road to recovery. No cranial damage The left side took the brunt of the injuries. They took off his neck brace and his ventilator, and will have surgery Monday. We still don't know how or what exactly happened, and he don't remember. The neighbor just happened to be outside and heard the crash, when he got there and saw that Tony was unconscious and not breathing right, he called 911 and Debbie. I just got home today. I am scared, shaken, exhausted and physically, mentally, emotionally drained. We were one lucky family. I cried all day yesterday for a family that was in the ER too, and lost their loved one. I keep crying for them and for us thinking that could have been us. God has watched over us and Blessed us by keeping my brother alive.

Bren, I am so sorry for your loss of your grandmother.
Yvonne, I am sorry for your loss as well. Hugs for all of you.
Great to see from the few posts I read that I hope everyone else is doing well. I am going to shower, and sleep until TUESDAY!!!! Goodnight, my dear friends and may God watch over all of you.
Hugs.

Jolene how my heart breaks for you to have that kind of fear and trying to deal with the suffering you had to witness in your brother.

My prayers that he will recover full and quickly and that until then God will give you rest and hope that those that have been hurting for him will find peace very soon.

Jolena, that is a horrific thing to come home to. May our Lord and Great Physician continue to lay hands on your brother Tony for a complete recovery.

Ladies, it is Monday and I am starting it by listening to some music from Mandisa. As I listen to the song Shackles, I am practacly dancing around my office. I was listening in my car and praising our Lord God. If you want some good music to get you moving and praising, give her a listen. I had to down load some of her music onto my Ipod. Such good music that I dance and cry as I praise. There is another song called "What if we were real". I can't say it better. As this day goes on, I am going to try to be REAL. God has blessed us with this day and I want to enjoy it.

This IS the day the Lord has made, rejoice and be Glad in it.

Have a blessed day.

Good Morning!

Jo, praying for your brother's complete recovery. So very sorry for what he and your whole family are going through.

Lorna, I've never listened to that kind of music, but your enthusiasm came right through to me....must google later and have a listen.

Beautiful blue skies and fluffy (like me) clouds over head.....what a beautiful day!

Jo, you and your brother and family are in my prayers. I hope he has a quick recovery!

I am also in need of prayers. My mother was admitted into the hospital late this afternoon with pnemonia and a UTI. She's 80 years old and hasn't been in good health for a really long time. I'll be on/off line here and there as I'll be spending as much time with her at the hospital as I can. She lives with my brother and he really needs a break so I want to take some of the burden off of him while she's there. Luckily the hospital is only 5 mins. away from me.

I hope everyone has a restful and peaceful night!
