Good morning sweet ladies,

Java is on and my family room update is coming right along. I sure know what you mean Anna, I've been on the no budget wagon for a while myself. But with the children gone now, I was able to squirrel away enough funds these last few months to make over a room. I've been so restless lately that at first I thought I would redo my craft room. But, after thinking about it, it's been about 10 years since I did anything different with my family room and it really needed the make over. I actually didn't really realize how tired it was till I got started.

I wasn't able to update the furniture but DH helped me rearrange it. Now I have a view out to the garden which is nice. I was able to replace the couch pillows, rug and drapes. Then added a new throw, table runners, some greenery and candles too. I had just enough budget to make it feel fresh and inviting again. The only thing left to do is tackle some art. I've got two special pieces I want to have framed. So I'm hoping Micheal's or HL are running a great coupon deal this week so I can finish up. Going to check on this today.

So what is on everyone agenda today?

Good morning ladies. Lorna, thank you for the prayer this morning! I hope tomorrow is a bright and sunny day for the birthday party!

Dawna, your family room sounds so inviting! It's funny how a few new things here and there and a furniture rearrangement can make such a difference!

Linny, are you getting the rain in N.Y. that we are? It's cold, rainy and gloomy here today. I'm going to try and stay indoors and just keep warm and do some scrapping. Hoping I have some mojo today! lol

Ok, I just saw something I thought was amazing. May not sound that way.... Had to be there.
Our company just shipped some drilling equipment that we manufactured that was 136 feet long. The truck came in, pulled into our shop, expanded the trailer, loaded up and then manuvered out of the shop in a short space between buildings and lined up on the drive. Two trucks like that left back to back in a convoy with police escorts. 136 ft was just the pipe. The cab of the truck surely added length. The pipe hung over the back of the trailer about 15-20 feetl. WOW! Props to those truck drivers. I have trouble manuvering my DH's toyota Tacoma into a parking space. The back wheels of the trailers move by remote control. It was so unreal. To think that I bought material that went into that.....

Bren, I am honored. I too have yours displayed in my scrap room for all to see.
I think I am going to have to put up a long long shelf just for my beautiful creations from my loved sisters here.

Oh my goodness, so many wonderful ladies to post to today. I can't keep up with everyone. lol

Deb, I hope your mood is better today? I know what it's like to be down.

Martica, I hope you and your hubby hear good news on the job front very soon.

Linny, prayers and thoughts still coming from me for Camille. May she sing many more songs for you in the coming months.

Dawna, I know what you mean about being burnt out on scrapping. I went months and did not build a page. My heart just wasn't in it.

Katie, I hope and pray ya'll get jobs when you get to your destination.

I know I didn't get to everyone, and I apologize. Not everyone knows me yet, either so...

I am working a bit today at my second job, I am job shadowing. I work as a provider for individuals who have disabilities.

I've agreed to take on a client. Some people have several clients, I will now have 1. It is a lot of paperwork, so I don't want a lot of clients.

I think i feel a headache coming on too. sigh

Lorna that sounds amazing to me too. I've seen wind turbine blades loaded like that and bridge parts before.

Wishing everyone a glorias weekend. I hope to finally finishmy hall bath. If I could just clone me,

Bon, it is so great to see you post.
Elizabeth, so glad you found the shop.

My son in college needs extra prayers. Pray that he will put on the full armor of God and not let the enemy destroy.

Hey friends! Glad to see the mood has lifted some here, I know I was a big part of the gloom, too, but I'm trying to be more positive! It feels good.

Woke up with stomach problems today, it sure picked a GREAT day to act up LOL! The big move is tomorrow and today is going to be a lot of scrambling to get last minute things done.

The boxes are packed so high in our dining room that they reach the ceiling fan. I am so excited to have my own scrap room in the new place!

None of us have actually seen the house, only pictures. But my mom's cousin says it's very nice and has good sized rooms and we trust her, so we're taking it! It has 700 more square feet than our current place. And it's a house, not an apartment!

Dawna your new room sounds lovely, how fun to redo it!

I'm craving a nap, not a good time for that LOL.

Elizabeth, I'm so happy your meds have worked so well for you. Mine have worked wonders, as well and have no idea where I'd be without them! Keep on trucking girl, you are stronger than you know!

After two cups of JOE today, I'm up and ready to scrap. It's another gloomy day but I'm ok with it. I may even take some time to clean house. I think I'd feel so much better if a job would just come along. It's getting me worried.

Bon, thank you so much for taking over formation for me. I needed the break. It did me good.

Linny, until today I hadn't done a thing scrappy wise all week but was thinking of the new line and what I could do with it! lol

I finally put all my stuff away from the long weekend and OMG, I can not believe how much stuff I have! I have got to put myself on a spending freeze! Seriously! It's not even the money, although it's crazy to keep buying and not using. I just finally feel the need to start using the things I have. I know when Al died and I got back into scrapping I was using shopping as a way of controling my grief. I'm really starting to feel like I could be on a scrapbooking hoarders show! lol

Joy, your son will be in my prayers!

Katie, safe travels for you and your family tomorrow!

Deb, its so rainy and gloomy here too but I'm trying to get some things done. My son and family are heading to Disney next Saturday and I promised Maddie & Mason an autograph book each to take with them so I'm trying to finish them up. keeping it simple for them so it's going smoothly and quickly! I'm hoping to be done tonight maybe.

Had an awesome day of scrapping today. I just love when I'm able to accomplish something.

Maggie, I consider myself a horder. After moving and unpacking everything, it made me realize just how out of control I was. Now I have to figure out where to go with it all in such a small space. It's really time to let go of some of it.

Great Job Martica and Congratulations! Your work looks fantastic as usual!!
Hi Girls, just stopped in to say that!
Hey Katie, don't forget to send out your new mailing address to someone who wants to send you a card Like ME!! I have been watching your crafty creation videos in the middle of the night when I can't sleep. That's a little quieter than watching monster movies and screaming when I get scared LOL!
Those of you who have been having a difficult time scrapping, I hope your creativity comes back to you soon! I have been working on cards mostly, but done a little scrapping lately too. Been getting my tomato plants inside as the weather here has gotten colder in the last month and I would have lost them if I left the plants outside I think. Today was 80 something tho but I am not going to risk MY plants outside! Green peppers and tomatoes are like serious brain food for me Plus I have a great big window room upstairs that stays warm all Winter (because heat rises).
Stay Cool everyone or Warm if you prefer! Happy Fall!
