Hey Everyone!

I'm new! I don't do much with scrapbooking, but admire the art and time you guys put into it!! I do have a question that I think you would be able to answer, or atleast have an idea for....I'm trying to get a look of fake leather, or "book cover" look on a piece of metal....I've seen some tutorials/how to vids on faux leather, do you think this is my best bet? What would you suggest? I know my application is a little different than yours, but let me know if you have any ideas...

Thanks very much in advance!

Here is a link for a faux leather look that I saw in the card challenge.

Maybe this will help.

For metal you might want to try alcohol inks by ranger (Tim Holtz) you can modpodge the tissue paper over it for the wrinkles, like in the second tutorial and the color will stay put since they are meant for slick surfaces. I picked some of the diffrent products you might want. There are a lot of diffrent colors of the inks, so look in the superstore (or a craft store) for the colors you want. If you need any help on using them just come back on and ask.
