My DH Johan built an iPhone app (ScrapStash) and a web site - Scrappypedia.com - for me (and for all of you!) were we can register our stash and keep a personal wishlist! It is free to use, and it is perfect for keeping track of ink colors, mists, stamps and stuff that you wouldn't want to buy doublets of.
Scrappypedia.com is a product database that we all will add to, just by registering our own stash, entering the barcodes (UPC/EAN). Then the next scrapper can find that product in the database and add it to her stash.
With the ScrapStash iPhone app you can register your stash by barcode scan which is so much fun! Today, I added 15 mini stamp sets from Inkadinkado to my stash with the iPhone app and it took me one minute!
You don't have to have an iPhone - you could just use the web site. (No Android app yet, but we're working on a mobile site to use with smartphones other than iPhone.)
We have had this service out for a couple of weeks now, and it has been tested by a smaller group of scrappers to iron out the initial wrinkles. Now we need some more beta testers so, if you like the idea and have the time, we would love if you'd try it out. (And by all means, tell your friends about it!)
Here's the web site: Scrappypedia.com
Download the free iPhone app, ScrapStash here.
You'll find all the instruction videos here . (Sorry for the low quality, these are my first videos ever and since we are offering a free service I had to make them myself. lol!)
Since making those videos, we have added features like image upload and tagging products. And we will keep adding features, so stay tuned.
There's a feedback & support forum on the web site where you can let us know what you think and post ideas for new features. Of course, you could also reply to this thread or send me a private message here at Scrapbook.com. I'll be around.
Thank you so much for your help! And don't hesitate to keep in touch if there's some error or if you have an idea of new and/or better features! I'd love to hear what you think of this!
