We have a very nice stamping store not too far from me...so I finally decided to go and check it out. Figured that if I was going to get into stamping and cards, it would be a great resource. Well..I was floored! My head was spinning with all the options. Their work was beautiful too! I have a lot to learn! They tended to sell a lot of flowers and birds and cutesy stamps. I tend to gravitate towards people stamps. I guess I will have to continue working so I can feed my new habit. Between this and scrapping, I may need a second job...lol.
There is so much at the store, but not all of it may be for everyone, which saves $. I look at stuff sometimes in the store and wonder "would I use that enough to justify the price?" I have gotten some stamps that at the time were perfect, then never used them again.
OK girls, if you won Lottery TODAY, what would you buy at the stamp store??
I would get me a new paper storage system to be able to see my paper all at once! I mean I would get more, but that is the first thing that comes to mind. I think I might get a maid too so I can stamp instead of do dishes!
And yes, I do play Lottery a few times a month, you can't win if you don't play!
I'd have a huge Magnolia shopping spree...and a huge Martha Steward punch spree...lolol I love both. The I would go n look for the perfect house, or have it build. Then buy a house for me parents and me brother All close together so its easy for us 3 to get together n do some crafts. We're all into crafts. I'd take both me sis in law and mum out for shopping when I go magnolia stamp shopping tho. I'd also buy some toys for me kids that I cant buy now. Me son is into Lego and me daughter into Barbiedolls.
I play the lottery every so on.... It doesnt hurt to dream
First thing, I would want to add a craft room onto our house and have it built to suit my needs. It would be the perfect room to craft in with all the latest in furniture and gadgits. Then, I would hit a scrapbooking/cardmaking store.
Ahhhh...If I hit the lottery.....a new house with a HUGE craftroom! And, like Holly I would buy up every spellbinders die!
But what would really be fun...is to be able to call out what I need for scrapping and have it delivered to me...like a machine that can recognize things and can retreive it on demand. Now that would be great...I spend so much time looking for things.
If I won the first thing I would do is go to the sports store in the mall and buy a 49er helmet signed by Joe Montana, Jerry Rice and Steve Young. A girl just has to put first things first!!!!
Then I would get every Hero Arts and Stampin Up product ever made!!!!!!! Susan
OK, no lottery big winnings yet, but I won $3, so I bought a few more lottery cards and some gum! I had to see what you were gonna buy so I stopped in. My health has been not so good, so fun places like this are good for me!!
I did get a really happy surprise yesterday too, my guy gave me a beautiful 'non wedding' ring! But he had to put it on my left hand to keep other guys from looking at me (So he says) I thought it was sweet but neither of us want to be married so it works. I think he made that up tho, I have not noticed any guy look at me any way for years!! So now I keep looking at my ring to see if it's still there or if I dreamed it!! I really never thought he would do such a thing. But had to share! It's nice he wants to be with me even tho I have failed to win millions so far!!
LOL, I hear ya! I recently gravitated from scrapbooking to cardmaking and have found myself becoming addicted to stamps. There are SO many, and some are quite expensive. But I like them all: big, little, expensive.. I even like the 97 cent Studio G stamps in the scrapbooking section at WalMart. I grab a handful upon every trip to the store! Lol
