Yep I am proud of both of my boys. Henry has severe mental disabilities and gets real down about school struggles. Nico has no idea what Henry goes through on a daily basis with his reading & cognitive issues, so he starts to verbally bully Henry. Sometimes I wish they would just have a physical fight instead of screaming match.
Henry did come home with a better "reward", a free little Cesar's pizza.

Denise- that is a nice scout page, I'm already planning my boys Eagle Ceremony with all their cub & boy scouting regalia that they earned over the years. Henry is on his second belt after filling up his first with belt loops. His red vest is almost filled up, I've started putting them in his scouting scrapbook.

Mandi - you're making me excited to get to the lss , its my once-a-month Girls Day Out at the not-so -lss (Whimsodoodle in st. Pete) on Sunday. I just got an email with all the new goodies they got in.
AND NO JUMPING!

Anna- I find if I look through my scrapbooks UPSIDE DOWN I get an inspiration.
If you're messy ie. do not put everything away after each complete page, force yourself to create a page with the items left on your table. I call it the Kitchen Sink page.

Thank Bob I get to sleep in tomorrow! Now lets hope I do.

Good Morning

Thank you MEL!!! I love all the goodies....especially those flowers...on one, the delicate petals fell apart and I took them off but what was underneath the petals was so cool...some sort of flower shaped natural material flower looking thingy...lol....gotta use it in a nature layout. Thank you thank you...and I needed some Western embellies. Roni loves the cupcakes..she works in a cupcake bakery.
Baseball size hail!!??? Does it dent your car...OMG....we had hail the other day but they're pea size, if that.

Swirlydoos kit arrived and I am 2nd in their Round Robin due Monday so I am gonna be scrappin this weekend.

Jon actually watched part of the movie, the Descendants with me...sad movie..but I liked it. George Clooney was great.

Stacey love the pics of Henry's ladder and him spying on the pig.

Cathe hope your dgd won her meet.

Donna hope you didn't get slammed at work.

Cheryl so sorry about your weekend plans but you'll have fun scrappin'.

Mel can't wait to see your waterfall...I've always wanted some kind of fountain or water feature..love the sounds they make and with flowers and shrubs around they make a sweet spot to relax in. Our only water features are puddles after the rain or Bravo peeing on the bushes....lol...that was totally unnecessary I know but it cracked me up that it even came into my head.

Have fun with girls today and get some pics with you with them and then scrap 'em.

I just worked out in the yard cleaning up...it's breezy but clear and when I took Roni to the train over the hill this morning the view over to SF was astonishing....like I could reach and touch it..don't necessarily wish to go there but looking at it from a distance is cool.

I have done absolutely NO scrapping. My sister called and said I could come sit with her at work since she is the only on there today. She cleans surgical instruments. I have been sitting here chatting with her while she works and I have been watching tutorials and getting LOTS of ideas for when I do scrap!!

Friend By Scrappin 2

Here is one I did for a challenge at Rockin' Scrappin' Grams. We were to write a letter to a childhood friend. I chose Vicky who is the little blonde girl. We didn't stay friends, but have recently reconnects because of the Net. We live about 3 hrs. from one another. Maybe someday we can meet up.

Denise I hadn't heard about the 4 ft. of hail. Yikes! I don't have a handle yet on who lives where, but stay safe wherever you are!

My granddaughter is only in 6th grade and was asked to run in this Invitational meet. It was a 7th, 8th grade meet. She thought she was only running the 100 meter hurdles, but had to run the mile as there was no one else to run it. She didn't want to. But she finished and wasn't last. In the hurdles she took 5th.The other day she placed 2nd but was running against other 6th graders.

Cheryl so sorry you didn't get to go out to eat and shop with your sister. At least you got to hang out together.

Jeanne you cracked me up about the wet spots due to the dog.

My dh wants a water feature on the deck. I think it is one more thing to maintain...for him, and he'd let it go and it would sit there broken. Yes I sometimes am a "Debbie Downer" (good thing we have no Debbies in here)

Making my rounds..

No rain here. 4 foot hail! That is scary, y'all take care.

Cheryl - sister & cleaning surgical equipment??? Do they bring dirty equipment from hospitals & offices to a bio-hazard washer? or does she work at the place that generates said equipment. Never heard of this type of job. inquiring mind or just plain nosy.

Jeannie - Thanks. Henry is so funny when the piggy is out. He's not suppose to look over the fence, its rude. He can go around it! He built the tower of doom after we told him no ladder, no climbing on the table, no climbing on the grill so he nosed around for items that were small. His words. Dh caught him in the act so that is what is really going on in the photo. I wrote that little bit of history on the back of the layout.

Lucky Mel on the deal.

Cathe - congrats on your granddaughter, that's quite an accomplishment to compete above your age group. Love that page, paperdoll is too cute.

Stacey - My sister works at a hospital and is a Central Sterile Technician. They clean and make up the packages needed for different types of surgeries. They have a list of which ones are scheduled for each day. On the weekends they take turns taking call because only emergency surgeries are done and the equipment must be cleaned right after use. There were 2 surgeries today. Once they are finished with the surgery, they call downstairs to her and she goes and get the carts, cleans the equipment (3 hour process) and then packs it all in new sterile packaging.

Mel, glad your dh had a nice birthday. I like water fountains too and had one here in the house
(a small one in the kitchen) but it died and hasn't been replaced yet. My next door neighbor has one outside and I love listening to it at night when the windows are up. So peaceful.

Night all!

Me thinks I'm caught up.
Think I might do some scrapping or something scrap related...like clean off my scrap desk so I can scrap!
No wait, first I have to find my mojo....
It's been a long day for DH and I. We had to go down into the city for a health screening at his work this morning...(a requirement for his medical coverage) Then we had to go to the jewelers, the Apple store, pick up a few items in Costco... Then we went to Hobby Lobby. Of course, I picked up a few items there.. Then did a big grocery shopping... And to top that off we had an hour and a half drive back home.
I'm pooped!
