Regarding last month's poll.

Everyones a winner. I be built the poll friday but it signed the poll I made was a little out of wack. So I told myself I'd try later only to forget. I thought I did build the page so I deleted the pmed votes. Instead of pming again or relying on my to remember who was in the poll lets just call everyone a winner.

Here is my entry. I distressed the bg layer with wet distress ink and smoochie mist. I also tore all the edges of that layer. I scruffed up the frame around the photo and inked it.
I made the flower from layers of paper flowers, for the twist.

I was wondering how you got that effect.

I was wondering if anyone's used distress stickles? I just can't figure out what to do with the stuff.

This ones JFF.

I've used them.

They're just like the regular stickles, only more ... sandy looking. They don't have quite as much shimmer to them, they're more "rock" like in their finished appearance.

They're great for aging and distressing layouts that you want to shabby up or dress down.
