I am going to work on my Hong Kong layouts. I am going to get these done. I will not spend all day on the boards here today.

I may peek from time to time but I am going to work on layouts. I am going to work on layouts. I am going to work on layouts.

Be strong and work on your layouts. It is sometimes very hard to stay away here. Looking forward to seeing the new ones!

Curious to see how this goes. It's just like having a box of Girl Scout cookies in the house. I'll only have one, just one. Next thing....box is empty!

Thin mints are evil that way. They should just label it a 2 serving box, and be done with it.

Oh Henri Jean... it could wait. Your friends need you. Don't disappoint them. They need to hear your stories.

For once the devil is right. Your friends need to hear your stories and need your advice. Your lo's can wait til everybody's in bed.

Well, got 4 pages done. Hope to get 4 more done tonight.

I had to run to the store and spent the afternoon. WIth company for Easter - had to buy all the Easter groceries except still have to go to Honeybaked Ham for 2 boxes cinnamon apples, 2 sweet potato casseroles and a 9 pound ham. And some of their wonderful bread for sandwiches after Easter.

I will pick that up Thursday or Friday.

Other than that - all is quiet here.

Got the grandbaby's first Easter basket - it looks like a fluffy bunny rabbit. And I got her a stuffed bunny holding a baby bunny - so cute! It has the eyes and pieces a child under 3 can't have so I may put it away for 2 years or let her have it only with her parents supervision. The eyes seem like they are really on there well! I can't see getting them off without scissors!

Most likely it will just sit on her shelf.

Got her a little candy but not much. A Lindt bunny in the gold foil and some RUssell stovers chocolate covered eggs. Not much at all.

I am doing the 'ban' next week. I have 4 more layouts to finish of our road trip back from Colorado. The problem is I CAN'T turn off sb.com because all my ideas are stored in my gallery!!!

My kiddo is gone for spring break next week so i can leave my scrappy stuff out and not worry about her getting into it

How you scrap and travel so much and keep up with scraping is amazing YOU ARE MY HERO

Husband is retired army - an old Green Beret (Special Forces) for 20 years.

Retired military and spouses fly all over the world for free on the military planes as long as there is space available. Retirees are on the bottom of the list but we still almost always get on. We've gone to the base in the morning and been to Italy that night. So easy in and out of Germany and Australia and Japan. And so many other places.

My husband is a fantastic shopper of cruises. He finds the best cruises and we take about 2 major cruises a year for 30-49 days each.

And we travel a lot by car. One year we did a 46 day cruise around South America, came home for 2 days, drove from Florida to Las Vegas for a week, then driving home from Las Vegas we found a flight out of Texas to Japan in the morning. We jumped on it with no planning but got off in Hawaii for 3 weeks.

We were home for 1 month, then took an around the world trip - part cruise, part plane on military flights. Flew to Italy and spent 12 days, jumped on a ship for Egypt, India, Malaysia, Thailand - I don't remember where else, then got off in Singapore and flew to Tokyo for 4 days, Okinawa for 4 days and Hawaii for 3 weeks. Then we came home.

I think the one that drove the kids crazy (they are adult) - in 2010 my oldest son was going to Germany with his fiance - she was born there and left when she was 2 - her family never went back.

He called all concerned becuase he had never been out of the country and didn't speak German.

I asked him, "Do you want Bill and me to go to Germany with you?" He said he did.

Bill and I flew to Puerto Rico, took a cruise to 3 of the Canary Islands and to Cadiz Spain and then Barcelona. Then we flew commercial from Barcelona to Frankfurt Germany and spent 10 days with them in a rental SUV - from one end of Germany to the other. Then they flew home and we drove to Ramstein to fly home.

When we got to the Dover Delaware we took a short hop to Langley Virginia. We told the kids we would be home that night - we had been gone for several months. However, Bill asked the pilot where that plane was going next and they said it was going to Hawaii so Bill told them we were too.

As it turned out, it was escorting 8 new fighter jets to Hawaii and then on to Guam. The jets only hold the pilots so all the crews and mechanical people and their gear and everything were put on the C-17 we were on and there was no room for us.

THe pilot told us, "I told you I would take you to Hawaii and I'll find you a seat."

He did - we got the two jump seats up in the cockpit and flew from Virginia to Hawaii - about 10 hours in the cockpit. It was awesome. ONe of my favorite flights ever.

My kids didn't bat an eye when we called them and said, "We won't be home tonight. We were in Virginia earlier today but instead of coming home we decided to go to Hawaii instead so that is where we are now."

We take our passports with us every where we go - never leave home without them!

Bill said tonight we have to go back to Hawaii in the next couple months. We were just there for a month earlier this year and I hadn't planned on going back until the fall but we have to go back probably in the next couple months. I love Hawaii but not ready to go back there so soon. Would rather go somewhere else and then go back to Hawaii in the fall.

In late June Bill has a license plate show in Des Moines, Iowa and from there we will take our time around the US getting to the west coast, and then fly to Alaska for a scrapbook get-together in mid July. From there we will most likely take an overseas vacation - just depends on where the planes are going. Sometimes we don't know where they are going until we get to the terminal.
