Still having scrappers block on the Mother's Day cards, but a make-and-take at my crop today gave me a simple but pretty idea for the flowers cards!

I'm totally and completely pooped from all the running around this weekend. The confirmation went beautifully -- as did the party. Ate and drank a bit too much! Then went out for Mother's Day brunch today. I think I'm gonna need a few days to recuperate!!!

Some great cards. I worked on my Asian ones today, but they're not done yet. I like the way they're turning out so far though. I don't plan the full design out in advance, I just start with whatever embellie or paper inspires me first, and then gradually build. though sometimes that gets me in trouble with spacing and placement by the time I get to the end.
BTW got the April cards yesterday - loved them, and had totally forgotten about the birthday cards I'd be getting, they were so cool!

Hey ladies. Lost a family member this morning (my great-grandma) so I'm heading down to Texas tonight to be with family through this. I will be home on Sunday though and will check in when I get back if I can't while I'm away.

My hubby sent out my ATCs for May today. I guess you have to use the B'day once that are coming, I think I put the month on these too.... ;0)
