While I'm happy with it, it does not have any required techniques, unless you count the meager layering, which I wouldn't. I tried inking the edges of the calendar mat red, but honestly I think it detracted from the page. The page itself has such a narrow border that inking there doesn't look good either. I can't distress them because the paper is 2 sided and the colors on the other side don't work with this scheme.
The white frilly die cut at the top is just very slightly embossed to give it dimension and I used glitter paper but those really don't count either as that's just the way the cut comes out.
The December banner (it's meant to suggest Sanata's list) has printed dashed lines which I might be able to actually hand stitch if I made the dashes longer and can find a fine enough needle not to cause big holes. Or perhaps a few decent size red french knots in opposite corners of the page?
