Ashlee will be turning 15 in July and I am at a loss as to what to do for the party. She wants it in the park with family and friends, sounds easy enough. She said hawaiian theme ok sounds easy but what kind of food should I serve? Decorations are easy found tons of hawaiian items at the dollar store just stuck on food ideas. Trying to stay under a 500 budget and looking at 50-60 guests. If anyone has any ideas please feel free to share, Her Uncle is buying her cake and we ordered her dress they are making it for her since she is so dang skinny none of the dresses from the dress shop were her size.
Thanks for all the wonderful ideas they are great, keep them coming. She has said that doing edible arrangements are something she wants so I will figure out how to do those, since it is summer we can find fruit on special so thats a cost cutter there.
Food for 50-60 people will be expensive. Maybe not too many decorations. I always remember large watermelons cut in half the long way and filled with fruit. It stayed colder that way. Cups with coolers full of lemonade will be way cheaper than soda. Maybe some crock pots filled with bbq or chicken would be easier than grilling.
