Hmmm...I don't know exactly what Smash Book stuff is, but, since it is scrappy related, I'll definitely keep my eyes open! Not that I need any more supplies...by the way!

Our WM completely redid the craft department a few weeks ago, but I hadn't really noticed any different scrappy stuff. We have a ton of fabric now too! NOT good for my sewing (very limited & new at it) hobby!

That does make me happy- even tho I own an entire Smashbook display in my house, lol. For reals, I bought one of everything. Well, almost- I haven't bought the label-maker thing, (cuz I have a vintage Dymo) - but I did talk Chocklit Darla into buying the labeler- lol

I LOVE that 'swatch' tape that you're talking about, I want another roll- I'll pick one up!

I bought the Smash labeler too ... but I wasn't completely impressed with it. What do you and Darla think about it?

Kory, you have an original Dymo. So do I. It was my dads. He labeled everything. He was the most organized person. Everything had a place, and everything was in it's place. Properly labeled and filed. I'm that way, and so are both of my kids.

Somewhere I saw someone used a strip of kraft to run through a label maker. Don't remember if it used original demo or the new SB type.

Oh LOVE my ole dymo!! You can still get the tapes at most paper selling stores, Target too.

I love to label everything, all my file folders, drawers, paper holders by manufacturer, etc.

Sheryl....
I saw a video awhile back on that too. They made a strip of cardstock w/ a white core the same width as the tape and put in the Dymo machine and after you press out your letters and remove the strip, you lightly sand over the raised letters to reveal the words you created. I did it and it works well for when you want a color or patterned strip you don't have in the Dymo tape colors.

WalMart still carries regular Dymo tape- at least the WMs near me. I found my Dymo at a Goodwill. It came in a little plastic carrying box, with an extra/different font wheel, and there were a few rolls of different colored tape- including my favorite which is WOODGRAIN, (and I use it very sparingly, cuz I have never seen a woodgrain dymo label roll and I will be sad when it's gone)

Kory....have you lost weight? Your avatar looks so nice. (Not that you needed to loose weight) but I just love your photo.

Our Walmart has Smash books section now too.The down side is they got rid of the Circut section.
Our scrapbook section is getting smaller & smaller.

The Walmart super center near me has the smash books out and getting ready to put out other smash stuff. They are putting them in the stationery area?

@designguyKORY - i might be able to help you find some more woodgrain dymo tape. I was in our local goodwill and saw a roll of it among others about a week ago. Next time i am there, i can see if they still have it if you would like. ?

SherylEb - it might have been me using the kraft in my Smash label maker. I actually saw Ursula use white photo paper on her blog, and thought I would try with kraft ... I liked the look!

Kory - woodgrain sounds fun!
