I'm getting ready to start a scrapbook for my newest little furbaby, my first layout is going to be a 2-page spread. What I'm picturing for the left page is sort of an old-west "wanted" poster with a picture of her in the middle. The right page will have the journalling and the ad from the newspaper.

Can someone suggest either a product that will give me the look I want, or a font that I could download?

Thanks in advance!
Jen

http://www.fontspace.com/category/wild+west

It's Fontspace.com
Go to Brouse and then find Western....bunch there and they are free. I downloaded several Western and also grunge fonts from there.

Also FYI, I don't know if you looked but under the Resources tab here, go to Tips, there is a Fonts catagory there to look around in.

There is also paper. I bought it to put a picture of my hubby from a visit to Tombstone, AZ.

you can browse on dafont.com... they have loads of diff fonts and most are free to download for own use. It's me database for when I need a font.
You'll need winzip to open the files tho after it is downloaded.

Well bless my boots, so there is! I never knew that. It wasn't me who asked the original question, but I love how everyone helps everyone out here. Thank you - off to do some more prowling around this site....

To the OP, there is also a font called Playbill which comes as standard on Macs. If you have a Windows PC it might be worth checking if you have it. You can download it for free from Urban fonts, which, I just noticed, has a whole Western category.

I never noticed the font section in the resources, either, cool!

But it looks like someone posted an odd bit of spam in there as a "tip" (bulk sms data transfer????). PM'ing Megan.

I use Font Freak. Lots of free fonts, just search for Western.

The dafonts.com site took me to a survey site - my computer stopped some malware from it!

That's because the link you had was wrong. It's dafont.com, no S.
