TISH all the pictures from the play were taken with my new camera and these ones I posted. Using it now.
Your pictures are great. I think I would love a new camera.....especially one with higher pixels....mine is only a 6..........so there are lots of things that I can't do with mine.....although I do love most of the things about it, I don't like that I can't take good photos at things like Mandy's graduation......I don't have the ability to take good photos in a dark room from far back, as in sitting in an audience....I tried taking photos of Hanna's dance program and got nothing really!

Betsey, or anyone, what is the secret for taking a nice picture of paper layouts!????? Seriously, my page is done, for what it's worth! Honest criticism is wanted. But, I refuse to post it until the picture looks better.
Betsey the other one is in a 12 x 12 scrapbook titled Tisha's mess! LOL
I lay my page down on the floor in front of the french door out to my patio....nice bright light, but no direct sun.....In Maine you might have to go outside.....I think that is what Cathe does....any way.....I lay it on the floor, then stand over it and take a picture like that...so it is not on an angle. then of course you have to put it in a photo program to crop it to 12 x 12, then load into your gallery however you do it. I think this is why it takes me so long. I take about four shots to make sure I get one that is clear. oTHER people use a tripod for the camera and set the page on a stand, but it always made it closer at the bottom than at the top and impossible to crop to a true 12 x 12 square...not only that, then unless you have lights you have to do that outside......my standing over the page on the floor, works very well.
This is the part of paper you will hate......if only there was a way to own a 12 x 12 scanner I would be thrilled......!

Betsey, I bet I have taken at least 20 photos of my layout, and none of them seemed right to me. Not straight and the color is not true. I think this is why I do digi. I am stubborn, and I will master this paper thing uet!

Char, I will always love digi. The paper was actually fun, but I do not have a nice designated scrapping area for all that goes with it. So.....my kitchen counter was a mess while putting the pages together.
I will be like Cheryl and do both....
What fun for Peter! Allen is a horseshoe champ!

Good evening!
Betsey - I am not so worried about myself if I get laid off because I have several other places that are bigger that are not too far away to drive to work. My concern is the insurance for my husband. I have GREAT insurance and have not had to pay very much at all out of pocket for all these doctors visits. I am trying to make myself as indispensable as possible.
Tish - I think you did wonderful on your paper layouts. I am not always very good at photographing my layouts. Some turn out better than others and that is just the way it is. I agree, you can do BOTH!!
Ann - Loved your new card!
Char - Glad the kids and adults had fun playing volleyball. I used to play when we were youth leaders at church.
Cathe - Sorry you don't get to make it to the ocean. When will you be back Monday? I don't work and hope I get to chat with you Monday at some point of the day or evening.
Teia - I hope you were able to work on your projects today.
Josie - It was hot here today in the 80s and will be 90 tomorrow. Just a week ago we woke up to 36 degree temps. I don't know why the weather is like it is. Ticks are AWFUL. I don't normally have ticks in my yard but found 2 on me after mowing the other night which is NOT GOOD.
