I'm lost and confused, but interested. I'm not positive how much free time I'm going to have, but surely I could find a little bit of time!!

Towle moves to college Saturday (8/11), Monday (8/13) I start taking classes 2 nights a week, Rhys moves to college the next Saturday (8/18), and Noela starts school after Labor Day. It's going to be a crazy month, I think! Oh, and OF COURSE dh is in the middle of a HUGE thing at work for the next 2 weeks. He who said I should definitely start taking classes this fall because he would DEFINITELY be able to help out with Noela and whatever the boys needed.

I think I'm following Teresa on Pinterest...I shall see if I can find her and re-pin something she has so you can see here, Stacey.

U know how zippers are popular now .... Or at least the top part cause they have the ones that have words .... Wonder if anyone has a tutorial for replicating these

Those are really cute! It would be easy to do by taking apart old zippers, but I'm curious about trying to make them from cs! TH needs to make the dies so we can do this easily!

I have been doing no scrapping at all. The other day, out of the blue, dh said he thinks I don't even remember where my scraproom is, because it's been so long since I've been there...I think he's right!

We moved ds2 (Towle) to school last Saturday. Ds1 (Rhys) has been sick and had to go to the dr. He moves to college this Saturday...we haven't even started his packing, but it shouldn't be that difficult, because he went to college last year and it should be more a case of gathering things together again, washing up a few things, and buying a few things.

I started taking college classes again on Monday...5 hours of computer class on Monday nights and 5 hours of algebra class on Wednesday night. I'm worried about class tonight, because I started feeling sick last night and woke up today with a bad sore/burning throat, congestion and a headach..it's not gotten any better. I think DS2 'shared' his sickness with mom...oh, the things they will share.

DD (Noela) is in her final week of summer swim lessons. She doesn't start school until after Labor Day.

You all know me ad crazy ideas.... Shatema and I kicked around an idea of doing a text message critique group. Kinda the same thing as here scrap chat and if your debating something on a layout, need mojo or an idea you can share it and if someone's free to text back they do. I know I'll arrange a page without gluing it and snap a picture and rearrange to see what I like best. We could do stuff like that and everyone could sound off on what they think.

Sounds cool! I finally started work AND IT IS TAKING OVER MY LIFE!!!! I am hoping now that I am going to be working at night I will be able to get something other than work and sleep done, but I am not sure! All I did this week was go to work, come home and sleep until I had to go to work again the next morning! And I only spent 12 hours out of the house each day, but I was truly exhausted when I got home--I just fell asleep and was lucky to wake up when my alarm went off the next morning! ACK!

I am only working part time now that I am finished orientation and I am working at night, which is more my style (I HATE waking up at 5:30 AM!!!) so I hope that I will settle into a routine. But I seriously do not know how people do it! WORKING for a living seems like a horrible thing to have to do!

It sure is a bear to work. I start back with the kids next week so that'll be even harder. It always seems so hard to get back into the swing of working. Maybe summers off are a bad idea. NOT!

AMEN!!! I go back to work on Monday after a nice summer off and I'm sooooo dreading it! At least next week is only for 3 days. The cleaning company scheduled the waxing of the floors and shampooing of the carpets for Thurs. and Fri. so no one can be in the building. That worked out just perfectly! And our new director decided that we can still be on summer hours for next week so it's only 9 - 2 as opposed to 7:30 - 3:00. Ahhh, it's the litle things that make my day!

Megan, where are you working?

Here's a good Pinterest board. http://pinterest.com/lilannt/tutorials-for -stamping-and...

I know, I know...not what the discussion was about, but I'm claiming 'sick brain syndrome', since I have the WORST summer cold EVER...and moving the eldest child to college this morning...if he ever gets everything together and ready to go!

Megan, it won't be so bad now that orientation is over, but I do count the time until my next day off even though I have a great job!

It is good to know I am not the only one who has difficulty adjusting to being back to work!

Anna, I am working at Harrah's Casino in New Orleans! It is a pretty fun job and a great company to work for I am liking it so far, but just exhausted every day! Today is a day off though! YAY!!! And I am enjoying it thoroughly! I am hoping to get to play on Saturday with you ladies, but I have work 5:30 pm friday to 2 am saturday and then again at 5:30 pm saturday to 2 am sunday so i dunno how my saturday is going to work out. BUT I do know I need to go shopping for some SUPER comfortable shoes! I had the worst boots on last night--not even heels, they were flats but my feet are still swollen and I had bloody toes when I took them off....ewwww! So I am investing in COMFY shoes ASAP!

Comfy shoes are defiantly in order. Sounds like a fun job and one more reason I need to get to new Orleans!!

What's the plan for the weekend? It looks like I will be here, instead of KS like I had thought I would be!! I need to do studying this weekend, but I'm going to find scrapping time in there, too!!
