Thinking of converting a storage shed into a scrap room. Has anyone ever done this? Do you have pictures you could share?

My only comment would be to consider the weather in your area. Be sure to have adequate heat in the winter and adequate cooling in the summer. Also is the "shed" protected from humidity? All of those factors can have a really wreck havoc on your photos, supplies, and scrapbooks. I've seen some absolutely amazing "scrapsheds" posted - just be cautious.

This was EXACTLY what I was going to say.

Depending on your climate, it could be a potential disaster.

Thanks again, I did not think of humidity moisture. That would be very bad!

As much as i LOVE this idea I don't know how practicle it would be in the Northeast where i live. I don't see myself trudging through snow through my backyard to get to my craft shed. But it is a great idea if you can do it.

Love the links!

I am thinking of doing something like that. I teach scrapbooking classes. Right now I hold them in my scrap room but was needing more room and thought a "scrap shed" (love that term) would work better.

Thanks for posting the links.. I love the front porch!

I love this idea, though I have to agree being in New England and my dislike of snow would probably prevent me from going out there for half the year but I think it's a great idea.
