I just started my very 1st book and decided to do a somewhat mini 4th of july themed its about 7.5x7.5

Before i started i didnt really know anout the chipboard and ive been just putting pages back to back.

Will it hold up? Should i finish it that way?

I dont think you would be able to tell in a pic. So rather than taking a piece of chipboard and putting each page on either side of it (which i understand you do?) Im just gluing my pages back to back so no chipboard in the middle? Is that okay?

I agree, it won't be sturdy and it will be prone to warping and bending.

I say don't worry about it.

My first mini was just 12x12 card-stock cut into 6x6 quarters, punched and held together with rings. They aren't even back-to-back, I just glued stuff onto each side of the card-stock. That was 3 years ago and after a lot of handling, it hasn't warped too badly, and most things are still stuck.

I like how everything is touchable because it isn't in pockets. I like the dimension. And if it isn't perfectly flat then that shows it is loved.

Enjoy doing what you're doing. View it as a learning curve - if anything doesn't work with this mini, do it differently next time. Don't let the "rules" hold you back. There are very few real rules in scrap-booking!
