Sewing is one of my FAVORITE techniques to do on a LO! So I challenge you this month to use sewing on a page. You can do it by machine or hand, but no faux stitching. That means no digital or doodled stitching.

*Twist*I decided not to do a twist this month, since we had 2 last month. So let's just sew and have fun!

Rules:
1)Must be new as of today 8/1/12, and you have until 8/31 to enter.
2)It can be any size,paper only, 2 pager,a card, and/or a mini album.
3)Link LO to this thread and please enable public embedding.
4)If you get love please return the favor
5)LO can be used in other challenges here or on other sites.
6)1 entry per person.

To do PUBLIC EMBEDDING:
1. Go to the layout in your gallery.
2. Click on 'Edit Image' tab at the top on the left side of the layout.
3. Scroll down to the bottom left side.
4. Check the box that says, ‘Allow Public Embedding’.

To link LO's:
1. Go to the layout in your gallery.
2. Click on the 'link/embed' words.
3. Click on 'IMG code' button.
4. Copy and paste the code which starts [url...] into the forum thread.

No need to sign up. At the end of the month PM me with your top 3 LO's and include your own #. Then I'll do a poll where we can vote for a winner.

Welcome ladies! Please bear with me this month, as I've been having major computer issues. It's definitely time to shop for a new one.

Computers are designed to last 3-5 years. If you have Windows XP, you have to reload it every year or it uses up your hard drive with updates (as in it doesn't delete the files once the updates are installed). Then Vista is an operational hog & just overall a bad program. If I may suggest- if you aren't very computer savvy- go with a Dell- they have great customer service & it's in America, not India. Personally I will never buy an HP or Toshiba again- have a problem- you talk to India; if it needs fixed- you send it in for 4-10 weeks. Dell sends a rep to your house! Very cool. Only if it's like physically damaged- like from a tumble down the stairs (don't laugh- this happened to mine) will you have to send it in.

Good luck with the computer stress Drea. I have something just about ready to add for this. My addiction to sewing may require some 12 step time

Thanks for the computer advice! I'm using a special disc right now just to be on here without crashing. I'm using a mini windows xp, but I can't save anything. Hopefully I can buy a new one soon. At least they've come down in price from the last time I bought one, which was 3 years ago.

ACU!

Drea...I would definitely go with a Dell and if you can afford it get the extended warranty. My computer took a dump and because I was still under the 3 yr extended warranty they just replaced my computer no questions asked and sent someone out that set up and transferred my files! Just make sure you don't get a Centrino Processor. My first one had the AMD Processor and this one has Centrino...my AMD was much quicker. But I have been happy with both of them.

While there is the talk of computers...when I upgraded to windows 7 a few weeks ago my IE got upgraded to 9. I now have problems occassionally with it doing weird things while I am typing...like it's using keyboard shortcuts. Cannot figure out how to turn them off! Do you think I should go to another browsing service like Google Chrome to fix the problem? Thanks if anyone knows!
