what kind of chalks are you using and any tips how to use this technique?

I use Pan Pastels. They're super smooth and they are the easiest to apply of any chalks I've used. They actually work like liquids, they're so soft and smooth. The colors are really vibrant. I apply them with the Sofft Tools they sell on the Pan Pastels website. Check out their site for videos on use

I used them on this layout.

I use the regular decorating chalk and have for years. I use q-tips and those round cotton makeup pads but sometimes my finger is the best. If you are going to work with chalk, you might want to get a chalk eraser. They are a great tool if you make a mistake. Above is an example.

WOW that LO looks amazing! I will look more into chalking I can see you can do amazing stuff with it! So far my LO are not as good, but I'm sure with time I will get better =) Thank so much for your tips Terri =)
