BONUS POINTS: YOU MAY TAKE +10 pts for completing the daily challenge by 11:59 pm (PST) on the same day/date that it was posted for! (SO the 9/2 challenge needs to be completed by 11:59 pm on 9/2 to take the +10 bonus points.)

9/1: Set up your signature line and 2 blogs (daily challenges blog AND monthly goals blog) for +150 pts!

9/2: use a border punch on your LO. I love border punches but lately I haven't been using them so its time to use those bad boys. Don't have a border punch? No problem but its gonna cost ya. Use any punch for 100 pts. Use a border punch for 150 pts!

9/3: Use something blue on your project today. 100 points

9/4: Use something related to water on your project today. 100 points

9/5: Use something gooey on your layout today (like modeling paste, or stickles, or paint...etc). 150 points because it's going to make a mess to clean up!

9/6: Today is the big points day. It's CHALLENGE STACKING DAY! Challenge stacking is the multi-tasking end of scrapbook challenges. Basically, what stacking does it take one layout and count it in more than one challenge.

For example, you could use the Color Challenge color scheme, with the Pet Challenge photo topic, a Page Maps ETC sketch, the Hoarders challenge to use up a long saved paper line, and then put it in the one, two, or multi photo challenge. That would count as a five challenge stack.

Your daily challenge, should you choose to accept it is to get points here by stacking challenges in the various forums. You can take 50 points for each challenge you can stack your project into, up to a total of six challenges for a total of 300 points.

9/7: It's finally FRIDAY! The weekend is only a few short hours away! Use a clock somewhere on your project today for 100 points.

9/8: It's SATURDAY! Today's challenge is about FAMILY time. Take 100 points for spending time with your family doing something fun together. Take another 50 points if you take photographs while you're doing it!

9/9: Oh, look, a pair of NINES. Use nine of something on your page today! 100 points.

Take another 50 points if you use TWO sets of nine somethings on your page, but it has to be two DIFFERENT kinds of somethings.

9/10: Kayla's niece went into labor this morning and is going to have a baby soon!!! In honor of little Aubrey's birth use a picture with a baby in it on your project for +150 pts! It can be a human or animal baby!

9/11: September 11 is the anniversary of an infamous day in the history of the United States. On Tuesday, September 11, 2001 time seemed to stand still as the world watched a great tragedy unfold in America. The attacks on the Twin Towers in New York City, the attack on the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., and the crash landing of United Airlines Flight 93 near Shanksville, PA shocked the world and shook many people to the core. There are 3 options for today’s daily:

1. Reflect on the events that happened September 11, 2001 and create a project to record your reflections for +300 pts!

2. Reflect on another tragic event that occurred in your country and create a project for +300 pts!

3. Create a project about an event in your life that shook you to the core for +300 pts!

9/12: use fabric on your project for +125 pts!

9/13: Use song lyrics on your project today for +150 pts!

9/14: TGIF!!! There is a contest where you can win $100 for adding new items to your wish list on! I'm going to help encourage you to play along by giving you +150 pts for adding 5 items to your wish list and then sharing your wish list on the thread!

9/15: Saturday is usually the start to the weekend...well, I have to work! So I am not the only one working, cross 3 items off of your to-do list for +150 pts! Share what you accomplished on the thread!

9/16: Write a blog today with a minimum of 100 words. The choice of topic is yours! You can write it in your blog or an external blog, but make sure to share the link with us for +150 pts!

9/17 daily: Use BLING on your layout 150 points

9/18 daily: Today I am catching up on a lot of things that need to be caught up on. (housework and layouts)
Spend today catching up or cleaning something (scraproom, house, (NOT HORSE  like last time.
25 points per project you complete (folding laundry no matter how many baskets done is considered 1 project)
Up to 150 points today (6 projects)

9/19 daily: Use something Metal on your project today. 100 points. If you use something that is not normally a scrapbooking item add 50 points more.

9/20 Daily Today is my husbands birthday. Scrap a birthday party, a football party, or another fun get together with friends. 150 points.

9/21 Daily: Use Ribbon and buttons on your layout today. 125 points

9/22 Daily: Do something today or your next day off that you normally don't do. Go to the museum, zoo, watch a movie. Take a bunch of girls camping. lol (sorry I couldn't resist). Or take a loved one out to dinner. 300 points.

~*~Weekly Challenge and Photo Challenge~*~
These challenges MUST be posted WITH POINTS DETAILS by 11:59 PM PST Sunday to take points for the weekly challenges.

RULE: If you take a pic of your computer screen because you do not have the item asked for in the weekly photo challenge you will only get half points for the picture of your computer screen. So if the challenge was originally worth 100 pts, you would get 50 pts; worth 50 pts, you would get 25 pts; etc.

WEEK 1: SEPTEMBER 1-2, 2012
Scrapping Challenge

Photo Challenge

WEEK 2: SEPTEMBER 3-9, 2012
Scrapping Challenge

It's back to school week all across the country! That means school buses, school supplies, new clothes, and a regular back to school schedule. Summer's over. We're all back on the clock.

This week, you need to focus on the elements that surround the idea of school and going back to school.

Create a project or page using only ideas that are related to school in some way. You can use school bus colors, red bling for bus lights, colored pencils, fabric representing new clothes, etc ... your imagination is your only limitation.

You'll need to be ready to explain any "off the wall" product you use, but I think the concept is broad enough to fit just about any idea you might want to put out there!

Total points = 400 pts

Have fun! I'll be waiting to see what you come up with!

Photo Challenge 50 pts for each pic!

WEEK 4: SEPTEMBER 17-23, 2012
Scrapping Challenge
I'm challenging everyone to try Mosaic scrapbooking this week.

This mosaic needs to be 1" x 1" squares. A layout will have up to 100 squares so you will get 4 points per 1" x 1" square on your layout.

If you chooses to do a two page layout you can ONLY take up to 400 points for the 1" x 1" squares.

Here are some examples from past Mosaics that I have done.

This one I cut the paper into 1" x 1" squares. There are 40 squares on this layout so it would be 160 points plus the rest of the layout points.

Paris By DaNel Hicks

This one has both paper and photos in mosaic. There are 70 total squares so it would be 280 points before other points

The Lincoln Memorial By DaNel Hicks

This layout has 7 cut up photos and 1 whole photo.

There are 66 1" x 1" squares

This layout would be 264 points before other points.

The Washington Monument By DaNel Hicks

Here is another example. This is a two page layout. Page 1 is 61 squares (244 points) Page 2 is 67 squares (268 points)

Merry Christmas Mosaic By DaNel Hicks

This one has 70 squares (the tickets do cover over 1" x 1" squares. This one would be 280 points.

Bridgestone Arena By DaNel Hicks

And the last one is ALL pictures no paper. It is worth 373 points. If I had used another photo instead of the "title" it would have been a total of 400 points. (there are 7 photos so don't forget those points when adding your layout up)

Challenge Volunteers!

These are the new rules for people who want to volunteer to do a week of challenges.
1.The weekly challenge cannot be worth more than 400 pts.

2.The daily challenges can only be worth 150 pts with one exception per week up to 300 pts. So 6 days of 150 points or less and one challenge up to 300 points.

3.The daily challenges should generally be something that can be incorporated into ANY LO. Not a challenge that you must make a LO for that you wouldn't have made otherwise. But it CAN require you to make a whole LO for one challenge per week.

4.Picture challenges can only be worth up to 250 pts total added up for all pictures. There should not be more than 6 pictures for the weekly photo challenge.

5. You SHOULD post the challenge by 10 AM EST (which is 7AM PST) OR post the challenge the night before, preferably after 9PM your time.

6. Please update the 1st page with your challenges at least one time by the Tuesday of your week, at least once by the Friday of your week, and at least once on Sunday of your week after you post the last daily challenge for your week! So you need to update the 1st page using the AnythingGoesChallenge login (you will be pm'd the login information before your week as hostess) a minimum of 3 times if you host an entire week of challenges. The first time you update, on Monday or Tuesday of your week, please post BOTH your weekly challenges and your daily challenges under the correct post (either the Daily Challenges post of the Weekly Challenges post on the 1st page of the thread).

****Weeks will run from Monday to Sunday!****

I am in for sept. I may only do motivational. I seem to have trouble finding time to take points after I complete a LO, but I love the challenges. So I will be motivational for now and goal be 4

I'm doing the 30 day sketch challenge with Jami, so I'll be doing that here too.

Sign me up.

Motivational, though, I think. I tend to get a tad obsessive/compulsive when I play for points.

30 layouts. (I'm seriously going to finish Jami's challenge)

If you NEED a hostess for a week, I can do it if you really NEED one.

Welcome ladies! September is going to start off a bit strangely because of circumstance beyond my control, i.e. Hurricane Isaac...We lost power again, but I never had internet at home anyway when we went back last night, so no power= no internet It is not just us who have no internet, but also the businesses and restaurants around us! So I can't even jump on public wifi! But the show must go on! I will be doing my best to keep everything updated and posted at the proper times--that being said--POINTS LIST is my next project to tackle, so that will be going up for sure today. The monthly will be up by Monday at the latest.

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! I got up early before work so I could check in with you all--if my job was 9 am-5 pm it would be the equivalent of me waking up at 3 am to do scrapbook challenge stuff and then going to work for 8 hours (well, I work 9 with an hour break). So needless to say, I will be BEYOND tired when I get off work this evening....UGH! I think coffee--lots of coffee--is in my future!

Going to work on the points list!
