I'm making a 7 Gypsies 9 photo tray. It's made out of particle board and I'd like it to be a weathered grey - I'm using the new Prima Tea Thyme with it. I'm not sure how to get the look I want - any of the paints, sprays, etc. that I have don't work. I just ordered a Lindy's Stamp Gang color shot thinking that my work, but do any of you have any other idea? If not I'll have to give up and paint it white. Thanks for any help you can give me. Alice

Makes sense Magi - I hadn't thought of sanding it. I had tried a little bit of black with gesso, but didn't sand it, so of course it came out flat grey. I'll try what you suggested. Thanks, Alice
