I'm planning on working on cards this weekend too  Quick QU, for this challenge are we supose to only stick with what you have listed for that day, or is it as long as we have those things it counts? I've been using the challenges as a basic starting point but adding more from there.

A - When starting off, just the basic idea, elements or bare bones, if you will & if that makes sense.
(By all means, you can choose just the elements...just the sketch...or both!)
Please feel free to elaborate or be inspired beyond the example, however you wish!

Almost everytime I begin (if not 99% of the time), my cards always end up with way more than I first imagined.
In my case, it's probably because 1) it's partly my own personal style and 2) I'm usually trying to use up what I have on hand or maybe haven't used in a very long while.

Wow, it's already past noon here (in California).
I better get a move on it, on my cards!
Instead, I've been sorting embellishments & looking for paper I can't seem to find for another challenge!

Hopefully, I can kick em out today!
Anybody else planning on working on cards today or maybe sometime over the weekend?
I think I'm gonna try to make a couple over the next few days, but I do need to run to M's for envelopes--their add says they will be having their value pack cards & envies on sale 2 for $5 starting Sunday, so I plan 2 pick up a couple packs of those. I have found in the past I can get cards made much quicker if I already have blank pre-made cards that I just need to decorate than if I have to cut up cardstock & make the whole thing from scratch.

Great tip in care of the premade/precut cards!
As for the envelopes, I say, having them onhand is half the battle! I always seem to need them & for whatever reason, almost never take the time to try & make them!

Sorry I'm a little late with posting today's card inspiration.
I've been trying to upload my completed cards & layout projects for most of the afternoon without any luck!
Sometimes it's bad, but today it almost seems downright impossible to get them to go through. 
Anyhow, standby for card #7!

Quick photo corner tip...
- Use a small square punch to punch out a square.
- Cut the square equally in half.
- (Depending on the size of your punch), you'll have either 2 or 4 triangle or L-shaped corners!
Other possible punch shapes include...hearts, circles, scallops, etc!
