I loved this one while it was still in my head, and it all came together just as I had imagined. I wanted a warm and sort of old fashioned feel because coloring and coloring books have been a part of childhood probably forever. The pic of Abbigail could be any little girl anywhere. The slightly "dirty" doily is there as a reminder of dirty faces and skinned knees that go hand in hand with crayons.
Hope you all a nice Thanksgiving. Ours was quiet and we like that.
I spent today cleaning so tomorrow I can finish the layout that has been on my desk for over a week now! At this point I will it because I finished it!!!
So I am wondering would you ladies be interested in doing this again? I would like to tweak it a bit. Like maybe having little challenges, optional of course, like go through you stash use something that you have had for a really long time. Or use a certain color.
What I like about this LO is that I got a collection in the mail called My Creative Scrapbook...It was great fun to work with-so many great choices...also...my little grandson Brian..just had to jump in when I was takingpics of his aunt Barb with his brother!... ans lastly--I am trying to stamp more...so the owl is stamped!TFL!
That's exactly what I said!!!
I almost cried.
But I held it together after the few... "No, No, Nooooooos!"
After I attempted to fix it, I hid it away.
I will look at it again tonight.
But it's my own fault.
I tried a new technique (again nothing big) but I liked it so after I was done adhering everything down, including the pics, I decided it just needed a little more....
I should have just left it alone and tried "a little more" next time!
Ughhh...I even told myself "don't do it" but I didn't listen
Okay enough of being bummed...
Time to move on.
Last one for me for this challenge....I was very motivated by thei collection-Nove, my creative scrapbook...and this picture fit perfectly with the contents...I grabbed this photo of my grandson Brian off of facebook....
Sometimes I just LOVE technology! The ability to get your hands on something you normally couldn't....like pictures you didn't take.
Now you can get them e-mailed to you, texted to you, or get them off a social media site!
