Thanks hun, hope you have been able to get those teas as well and that they relieve some of your pain from the headaches hun.
I know all too well about constant headaches, mine was from my blood pressure, I didnt know that I had high blood pressure for years, actually since I was a teenager, only time my doctors monitored them was when I was pregnant, so thought nothing about it. I adventually figured it out and went to a doctor about it. Been better ever since, but headaches are caused by alot of different things, mine were just a side effect from extreme high blood pressure times when I was stressed.

Good news, went to get my nerve pills today and had two new discount cards as well. They put them into the system, but the best one was the pharmacys discount program they had, don't know why they didn't give that to me the other day. I only had to pay $20 to get it, it was regularly $128...ouch. I was overjoyed that it was that cheap.

Bay your in my thoughts and prayers. Hopefully those are your last and all goes well.

Meds are working better, the stronger nerve pills, hopefully it stays that way, tired of having a pins and needles in my glutes and legs and feet.

Hello ladies. I have Bern suffering thee pact few days. Headaches have been bad

Hey, honey, my husband suffers awful from migraines I'm so sorry to hear you do as well,,,,

have you tried immitrex?? it's been a life saver for him,,,,

they will only give him 9 pills a month and he has double that number of headaches,,,

so the doc prescribed a 100mg pill, and he cuts it in half (50mg does the trick), and he gets 18 headaches from it,,,,

hugs.

I have several pain issues,,,I tried for years to figure it out, and basically, they all told me I was crazy,,

turns out, I'm not.

I have fibro (which they knew)
spondylosis (arthritis of the spine) with considerable narrowing of the spine, which causes my right leg and foot to be numb.
and degenerative disc disease,,,,

it only took them 20 years to figure it out,,,,eyeroll.

Hugs to all of you I'm praying for you!

I so hope it doesn't take them forever to figure out what is wrong with me. If its the discs that shift out or the arthritis as well. I should have known when I was younger that this would one day bite me in the butt. When young you think you are indestructable. Guess what we aren't, learnt that the hard way.

Holly I hope that they have been able to help you with all those conditions, now that they know what they are. Its frustrating when they aren't able to help you.

Well I spent five hours in the ER today, from 4:20 til after 9pm. It was my sciatica acting up, I took a bath to soak my knee before work, that turned out bad. While soaking, somehow my foot started aching and hurting. Finished bath and got out of it,only to find that every step I took a sharp pain ran from my knee to my foot and made it hard to walk. It was my sciatica acting up and causing it.

Had to call off work, take mom to work. So one of us were working today atleast. Went to ER and it took forever to be seen by the doctor. They sent me to the Fasttrack triage and it wasn't fast at all, I sat in there for over an hour without seeing a nurse or doctor in my room. I made myself at home and grabbed to blankets, one because I was freezing and had the chills and the other to prop my foot up more to elevate it.

The doctor asked me alot of questions, checked my back, listened to my heart. She changed my muscle relaxers to Valiums for a week and half. She gave me cortisteriods for six days. Switched my anti-inflammatory pills to something stronger for a week. She gave me a shot in my arm and butt to help ease the pain, it was steriod shot. Both burned and hurt. She also gave me the next four days off and I am to go to a spine speicialist on Wednesday and get an MRI done.
We are still pending on the Medcap Insurance that they are trying to get me, but they have me on the other program that for now, rights off most of my medical bill because of the income level I have. I am thankful for that, the prescription bills are bad enough this month..lol. Plus the doctors visit I had a few weeks ago with my doctor.
Okay off to sleep, I have to take my car to be fixed brakes and rotors in the morning and have homework to get done as well.

Oh goodness TJ, that's an ordeal. I'm glad they found something they could help though. The worst is when they don't find anything, therefore to them it doesn't exist - it's all "in the mind". Nope, it's in my back!

Bayamonesa1 - I'm so sorry the chemo was delayed. Sending you (and everyone) healing wishes.

I hope so as well ladies.

I have to recall the spine specialist, she was to email the registration forms and me as a new patient with them. I was suppose to get them yesterday but thought okay maybe today. Nope, but was out running a few errands and seen that she didn't email them. I will be calling bright and early in the morning to make sure that she sends them, or I will be calling her all day until she does it.

I did get better news with other stuff in going on not health wise, so I feel more uplifted today and positive. Which helps the spirits and health as well.
