My DH is getting me the Cameo for Christmas so I just ordered one from here on sale! 
Thank you Scrapbook.com for putting it on sale so that DH would buy it for me!!
I know what I'm getting now but I'm still so very excited!! Can't wait to get it and play with it!
I'm really looking forward to cutting fonts off my computer...
Off now to browse the Silhouette store.....
Anyone have any favourites or tips for using the machine? I'm new to electronic diecutters.....

Congrats Alison! Enjoy it. I saw that price too but haven't decided if I need one yet. I do have an Expression, and I don't use it alot, but I don't have any trouble with it either.

On the Silhouette site, all the design are on sale for 1/2 price through the 30th.
I don't know if their subscriptions are on sale ?

My advise is take your time! Read and watch you tubes on the machine learn the ins and outs or it gets really frustrating when you arent sure trying to adjust the settings to geth the paper to cut properly. Once you are done playing and learnign the maching that way you will love it! Mine is one of my favorite tools!

Shop around.... I saw one for $10 more which included the starter bundle kit.

LOL! No way! I'm pulling that puppy out the minute it arrives....I'm so excited to be finally getting one!
I did see that the designs are on half price and am browsing....
The subscriptions don't seem to be on sale but I'm not sure I need one? I was thinking of signing up for the free registration for now....

I just ordered one too! I'm so excited. I've been browsing the site as well and will probably just order images as I need them since I scrap in spurts.

Congrats and enjoy!!! Yes, the designs are all half price, but the last two years they have also had a sale on subscriptions in Decemeber...because that's when I've always renewed mine!

I bought an extra mat and blade and even a dust cover for my cameo during the 40% sell. I saved about $7.00 on all three items. So I like shopping for stuff I can use without breaking the bank. All of it when using the code "Black" was under $30.00
