Since I was 3, my step-aunt has been a HUGE part of my life. She's always treated me as if I were her blood niece and has...well, just been amazing to me.

She is a very difficult person to "buy" for at Christmas as she is pretty well-to-do and needs for nothing.

I've created scrapbook pages and framed them for her in the past....have altered clipboards, etc

But now I really want to somehow give her the gift of what I feel for her and how important she has been and always will be to me....I want to let her know how much I appreciate her.

I want this to be something very special, but I am at an end on exactly HOW to do this/how to present this.

I am looking for anyone's ideas for this! Would appreciate any input!

How about making her a mini-album?

I like the mini album idea too, but could you focus on the aspects of your aunt that mean the most to you, - make it an 'I love you because...' album, and give examples. For instance 'you know when I'm upset' - small photo to remind her of when she made a difference, plus some hidden journalling.

I just left a job that I loved, and my secretary (also a scrapper), got my colleagues each to write a message to me, which she attached to photos of them, and tucked in pockets throughout. It was one of the most thoughtful touching gifts I've ever received.

She made the album from scratch, using a YouTubevideo. Happy to find the link if you're interested.

The fact that so much love went into it, made all the difference.

Yeah, I think it really should be very personal. It's not quantity that matters, but quality

You could title her album...Reasons why I love my aunt. I have made those before. They can be as long or as short as you need. (reasons) 5 or 15. it does not matter. include some of your memories too.
I always felt such amazing love from you as I was growing up. You always made me feel like I was your daughter... I always felt safe there etc.I have always been so grateful to have you in my life & your love etc
I think there are heart shaped albums too

I did a little mini album for my daughter,,,,

it was an envelope mini made by 7 gypsies, I think,,,,

I labeled it 10 reasons to love you

each page was embellished and you pulled a tag out of the envelope to read the various reasons.

#10 was "because there are so many more than 10 reasons to love you"

I'll try and find it in my gallery.

GREAT ideas! Love the examples. I guess I always thought albums=pictures and I don't have many of her....thanks for thinking outside of the box for me!

A poem about her by you and then have it printed in Calligraphy and framed.

well you certainly do not need pictures in there. Just decorate the pages & either write a somethingon the pages. You could also put some quoites about love on some of the pages or about family
