How do you finish off the edges of chipboard items when you are covering with patterened paper? I am beginning to work with the Bind It All / Memory File ideas using chipboard albums, files, cutouts, etc. I see that many will cover the front/ back of the chipboard but how do you finish off the edges?

Cut the paper as close as you can to the edge, then use a sanding block, nail file or sandpaper to smooth out the edges.

You can leave it natural or use ink/paint/etc to cover the edge.

Washi tape. I love the clean edge and it gives you a choice of color and designs that match your project.

I ink my edges and then adhere the paper, cut close to edge and finish off with a sanding block.

I have also painted the edges of my chipboard before covering it with patterend paper!
