Hi guys!! Has anyone else been using Faber Castell Gelatos on their projects? I would love to see what you've done with them. I started playing with them recently, and made up a little tutorial while learning how to use them  You can stop by and check it out on my blog, if you'd like!

great tutorial!
I took a class with Donna Downey las month and used gelatos for the first time ... much fun
I bough a set of them, but haven't played with them on my own yet, so I appreciate any posts with ideas

I ordered it through my LSS ... they hosted a class by Donna Downey that I went to and were offering a 20% discount on all products related tot eh class ... I knew we would be using them so I bought the big set instead of one of the smaller ones
but I'm not really an art journal person ... I like to SCRAP, and I haven't figured out how to use them in LOs as opposed to a journal or collage
We played with a whole mess of different media in the class, and it was very fun, but I don't know how to translate the techniques to scrapping
my favorites were the pan pastels ... very cool, and I'm thinking about getting some, but I feel like I have to use the gelatos first before I can buy a whole new set of stuff ... and I have no place to keep any of it

I was going to ask about the pan pastels too. Who's tried them? There is Donna Downey classes and looks like she uses them alot, but I haven't really looked at them. I don't really need them....or do I?

The Pan Pastels look AMAZING, but they are pricey! Ouch!
Kelly, what a FABULOUS tag! LOVE it! That is prob my fave stencil ever, love how you used it!
