I just started messing with the Tim Holtz/Ranger line of inks and such. This may be a dumb question..but, what do you all do with your tags when their completed?

Not dumb at all!
I've always wondered that and I've been scrapping for over 14 years!!!

Me too. I never know.

I attach them to gifts. I've used a few on scrap-book pages and cards, and mini-albums. That's about it.

Great question. I wonder too.... Inquiring minds want to know.

I've used them as gift tags, glued them to the front of a blank card, hung them on my wall to remember a specific technique, or give them to my boss who goes crazy over them and thinks they're amazing works of art (ha).

I have seen people hang them from metal "tag trees". I don't have the room for such fripperies in my scrappy area LOL,,,,,

That's why I don't make tags. I used to make them for presents but no one bothered to look at them. I think they just forgot they were even there. I don't look for pretty tags either though.
BTW, I love the word fripperies!!

I've only started playing with tags. They're a great way to play with new techniques and/or supplies on a smaller canvas. I plan to use mine on scrapbook pages, as gift tags for those who I know will appreciate the work, and also I'm going to put a bunch together and give them to local groups/charities for their craft sales and small auctions

Mine go into a drawer until I have an excuse to give it away...

Remembered this thread on Friday at the Scrapbook Expo. Tim Holtz was there doing demos at a booth. Someone asked him. He said they make quick and easy cards. He has tags predone hanging, then you pull one off, add your greeting stamp and then put the tag on the card. Thought was interesting to hear a pro weigh in.

I've always wanted to do a tag that would make Tim holtz weep Hans't happen yet but I'll keep at it.
