I recently ordered this set; and I'm having fun preparing it for use. I'd like to find out how others have secured the corners on the drawers for this set, or any other set? I'd like for the whole piece to last several years -- DS is just starting to acquire tiny toy parts and they'll need a good (Tonka tuff)home.

TIA

I used 3M Scotch Quick Dry glue for the seams. Painted the back of a strip of scrappy paper with more Quick Dry and wrapped it around the entire drawer. And I 'lacquered' the entire project with a clear Liquitex gesso (I think it was gesso, I can confirm with DH if you're really interested).

However, they are paperboard so while I think they will last for years with gentle treatment, they will never be "Tonka Tough." So just prepare for having to repair it sometimes.
