I would like to put actual pasta on a LO. What should I do to the pasta before adhering it? TIA

Would like to see that lo when you are done... whatever you do, don't use the glue kids make macraoni projects with... that stuff is always falling apart!

I wouldn't use it. decay, bugs, mold...

but...
Maybe spray it with a clear finish (like clear spray paint)?

Just be prepared that it probably will NOT stand the test of time.

Dry pasta's too dry to get moldy, I think, but Linda's right about the possibility of bugs. I'd think sealing it with something should work just fine.

I would imagine if you live in a humid climate, dry pasta on a page could get moldy.

I honestly don't know. It's just my best guess.

I would probably coat it in UTEE. That would seal it good, but I don't know how long it would last.

Mod Podge MIGHT seal it up good, I would prob use more than one coat on it....crafters glue....I would worry about that lasting long.

*I* would cover the pasta in a nice garlic cream sauce, or perhaps a good marinara.

the LO will have a pic of my pantry and ALL the different types of pasta I own. I wanted to put a 'real' one by the box title so other people would know what they are.

pasta is my scrappy supply of the kitchen. i have many different ones...
