Hi,
I don't post often (sorry about that!)

Does anyone know how to cut circles into mat board or grunge board without a heavy duty press?

I want to cut 3/4" holes into pre-existing inchie art pieces of mat board. Just not sure how to do it to get a nice clean cut circle.

If it cannot be done, I guess I can cut a bazillion cardstock squares with circles on my silhouette and glue them together.

Thanks to anyone with ideas on how to do this!!

Well, you could try a punch but it might not work too well depending on how many you are doing....I've punched out of grungeboard before but I would think if you punch very many the punch might get dull and not work anymore....

Second suggestion, if you have a BigShot or someone who has one, use a steel rule die...TH or Sizzix ones (spellbinders or Quickutz won't work, they won't cut through grungeboard)

Good Luck!

I was going to suggest a Logan circle mat cutter. Then realized you want only 3/4" size. I'm sure the circle mat cutter would not cut that small.

I think your best bet would be a hollow punch.
