I have the Fiskars 12-inch Personal Paper Trimmer with Cut-Line Blade Style 1. I seem to be changing the blades out frequently. Is this normal with other trimmers? I am scrapbooking daily but still feel like the blade should be lasting longer than it is. Is there anything that I can do to make the blades last longer? I'm so frustrated with this I'm even considering buying a new trimmer. Is there one you would recommend that isn't terribly expensive, or should I stick with what I have? Thanks for your input.

do you buy regular blades or titanium? i have the same issue with I-style blades on my fiskars - it doesn't do a clean cut after a couple of days. I got a rotary trimmer for home use but still like to pull this one out for precise inside cutting and a small guillotine style for photos (highly recommend!) so stick with mostly those..
Try replacing with titanium blades, it may help.

Thanks for the tip Olesya. I'll put those on my list and try them next time. I've just been buying the regular blades.
