Hi all I need your opinions.....What do you think be brutely honest. Does it need less color more color different color? Or is it ok as is?

Pretty! But I think it needs a bit of contrast to make it pop. Maybe a bit of white to highlight the word 'heart' on the key, and a bit of black or deep purple at the corners.

I agree with Stick - it has the overall look of 'shabby-chic'... I would add some cream/white for contrast.

I think it's beautiful just how it is. I love the subtle colors. It's lovely to me because it has a lot of texture and things going on, but the colors as they are enhance that for me.

I love it. I would add white or cream (I think a soft white is better than a hard white) to one thing, like the word heart or the dots on the heart; some small detail you want to bring out. Not too much, just a little to highlight.

It's lovely.

Thank you all I have some shabby white I'll try it on the key! It's my first canvas so you always wonder what to do to make it look better. It was so fun to play with

I would add a brown to make it pop

I think it's gorgeous just as it is, but I think a little subtle teal or brown would really make it pop! Whatever else you do to it, I hope you post the finished product

I'm still thinking but I will post the final project I think I'm going to see if I can darken the edges just a little and lighten the key just a hair.

Pretty!

I think some small touches of either white or brown would work.

I can't wait to see how it turns out!

I think it is very pretty!
The first thing that stood out to me was the pink key....I don't know why but that is the only thing that sort of bothers me about the piece...
I would probably make the key a tarnished sort of silver, aged but still a metallic, IYKWIM?
Otherwise, I love it!

I'd pop the key with an offwhite, and darken the edges of the heart. Dual contrast.

I would add a little gold leaf if you have it.

Gasp! Its really really gorgeous! I do think a bit of darker contrast would be good, maybe along the edge of the heart and a tiny highlight on the key.
