Ummmmmmmmmmmmm. Yeah. I'm glitter challenged. Confetti would be a close second.

I used confetti on my very first LO! The new stuff is not messy or hard to use, and comes in fun shapes and colors. I'm kind of excited to see where this new trend will go!

well how do you glue it down? do you just apply adhesive and trow the confetti down and let it land where it wants?

Any examples that can be shared?
I probably won't do it but I am curious!

I like mine to look like it was just thrown, but with an artful touch - if that makes sense. I put it where I want it; I just try to make it look random.

Any liquid adhesive that will hold mylar should work. I use just a few dots on the back.

Here are some examples: (thanks for the excuse to post my work )
Happy Birthday By JustLyn
The "Happy Birthday", party hats and smilies are confetti from his birthday party.

The "Congrats", stars and boards are confetti from the reception table.

One last one:
Traditions of Christmas - page 7 hidden journaling By JustLyn
The HO HO HO on the lower right here is also confetti.

Hope you have fun with it!

Oh, and as for glitter? No one makes a worse mess with it than I do. But then, if I avoided everything that I can make a mess with, I wouldn't even get up in the morning!

I've done a few pages with confetti on them. I punch a bunch of circles with my hole punch, throw them on the page randomly, then lift them slightly and use a glue pen to adhere them in place.

i ran strips of scrap paper through my Xyron and then i affixed the 'confetti" that way. it's easier and it looks good
