Help! I have stacks and stacks of stickers and other embellishments. How do I organize them so I can see what I have?

I might be mistaken, but organizing embellies is the focus of the organization.... class? challenge? You might get inspiration there.

I have mine organized by category: baby, flowers, holidays, etc.

I just went through tons of supplies I'd forgotten about and got them all sorted. I don't have too many stickers, but I did sort the stickers/embellies I have by theme. I have tons to get rid of that I've never used.

I have tons of stickers and embellishments. I have them in 12x12 plastic boxes, by category. I hate to part with them. Every once in a while I'll pull something out that is old..and use it. Then I am glad I haven't purged it. I do have way too much though.

It depends on how you scrap. I always keep my organized by theme (baby, wedding, travel, etc) Some people organize by company and keep everything no matter the theme made by the same company together. Organization is a lot of trial and error, you will find what works for you and what doesn't!

I organize mine by both theme and company. I have 12x12 plastic containers that I keep like items in. An example would be my Halloween container. I have single sheets of papers, clear stamps, embellishments, and stickers in it. The paper is on the bottom and everything else is on the top. This way when I'm choosing my paper I can see what embellishments I have to go with it. If I have too much for one box I use one box for paper and the other for embellishments. I seem to use more of my stash with this system.

definitely by theme. I like to flip through the packs, so I stack them vertically in a 6*12 boxes, roughly combining the manufacturers within the theme where I can. long border embellies are kept separately, and rub ons separately, the rest by theme.

Think about when you are scrapping and you get up to look for a sticker. Are you hunting for theme or by color.

also make it easy to thumb through everything because sometimes a sticker in a certain theme might be useable for something completely unrelated.

I have been doing this for 14 years and still struggle to organize stickers in way I will see them and use them.

Over the years I had changed my "way" of organizing many times, usually there was always something that could be done better!

This is a great idea! I'm going to use it for Christmas, birthdays and collections. Thanks.

I organize mine by theme and slip them into 8 1/2 x 11 page protectors in a 3-ring binder. I put a piece of copy paper in the protector first, then I have two sides to slip a set of stickers in. Each binder is labeled (alphas, holidays, cats, etc.) Then I can flip through and see what I've got!

Genius! Mind if I borrow the idea?

My system is similar only I use 12 x 12 3-ring binders. I have tons and tons and tons of diecuts so they are in there along with stickers and other embellies.

My stickers and chipboard are so varied there isn't a good way to sort it. I did today sort and put it in zip lock bags so I could at least find it.

I have the small 5 drawer sets. Stack 2 of them (10) drawers, have 4 rows (40) and they are organized by theme or item and color (flowers).

Larger items go into the 3 drawer sterillite drawers with the paper by theme.

I have winter, Christmas, birthdays, Easter/spring, summer, baby, leaves, flowers, resin shapes, bling/ pearls, etc. I think it depends on how your mind works!
