Hey Ya'll. Its been a while since I posted anything here. I have question for anyone who can answer. I'm working on a layout that includes photos of a nationally known celebrity and us. I'm wanting to up load it to my gallery here but probably can't get permission from him. Is it alright to do so?

If he was out in public I don't see why not!

If you took the photograph then you essentially own it and can do as you like.

I don't see where it would be a problem.

Whoever took the photo, owns the copyright.

I think it is fine. I have seen lots of bands that people posted here before. I used to find new ones for a friend. I have seen tons of celebrity pages too. people make pages about their fav celebritys all the time movie stars too.

I don't think it's a problem. After all, you're just sharing your layout with friends - not selling it to the Enquirer for profit.

I was thinking Inquirer too and they take and sell pictures all the time without releases and it seems to be legal. The only thing they get sued for is slander.

I like the way Megan worded it. The one who takes the photos owns the copyright.

You don't need permission!
