After you tear along the edges of your page, what its the best way to add the color? If you use distress ink, what do you apply it with? (scrapbooking question for dummies. lol)

Depends what you have, I have several of the cat's eye chalk ink pads, I use those because they dry almost instantly. I tap them directly onto the edge of the paper. Sometimes I use a different ink if I don't have the right color in the cat's eye, then I use a little piece of sponge to tap it onto the edge of the paper. Hope that helps!

I use the distress ink pads direct to paper...the same way I use any ink pad.

If I really need to get into a tight place or want to be more precise I use the sponge-tipped makeup wands.

I use either the Distress Inks or the Cats Eye.

I use the ranger ink tool with my distress inks.

The small daubers are great for getting around small areas.

I like the prima chalks too. they are easy to hold and use.

The sponge tip make-up wand sounds great. thanks. It is all beginning to make sense to me now.

I don't tear my edges, but to add some distress or shading to the edges of my papers, I use Distress Inks applied with a sponge finger dauber. I have one for each color family. In really tight spaces, I use a tissue wrapped around my finger. It works. Have fun with your inks.
