I haven't been on here in a very long time so I can't remember where things are supposed to be posted...

Where would I post info about upcoming crops in my area?

I haven't been on in a while either but I would guess look in the forums for different states maybe they would have something.

I wish they would start a section just for crop info but there isn't one.

The part with the states - seems there is never any activity there, or it is in states I check. That is the most neglected area of the boards I think and its sad. I had hoped to connect with other people in Florida but the Florida part was no help.

I would just put it here.

Megan - how about a section called "Crops" where people can list crops?

There are two in Michigan that I am hoping to spread the word about...
One is in Gaylord MI March 27-30 at Tree Tops Golf Resort.
The other is in April 25-28 and that is at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island.
I think links to another site is a no no on here so if you need more info I can pm you!!

Nope.

Advertising is prohibited by board rules. If people are participating members, I'll usually let them go *in the location areas*.

What happens when they get posted HERE...there are hundreds of people who it does NOT apply to, in proportion to those it does. My complaints blow up.

I'm a member of other sites that DO have a specific crop area - it's a cesspool of ads, mostly. We don't have the manpower to try to maintain that, given the high signal to noise ratio.

Makes sense - never thought of it that way.

Thanks for answering Megan. I wish there was more activity in the states section. Don't know why that is so quiet because I really wanted to find scrappers in my area there.

I knew advertising was prohibited and hadn't thought about it falling into that category. I can see it though.
