So, where do people get their gauze that they use in scrapbook layouts? This my be a stupid question but I see a lot of people use it or something like it in their layouts.

I think what you are talking about is cheesecloth. You can get it in the kitchen section of just about any store. Hope that helps.

I got some cheesecloth in a pack at Walmart, dirt cheap. Like Andrea said, I found it in the kitchen section.

You may also be referring to mesh.

I'm sure you could find some sort of mesh/gauze at a fabric store.

Or first aid gauze.

I use the gauze for first aids that comes packed in individual packets (there are also some that come in rolls but sometimes is more compact. It's a matter of looking at it before buying).
This is the one I just used on my "HALLOWEEN 2013 - PAGE 4", if you want to see it.
Hope it helps.
