When I spend that much I always make sure to have one or two scrappy items for my hubby. I end with those items. I also tell him how much it retails for and then give the total price at end.....

Don't feel bad, Amazon sucked me in last month. I'm bad about buying something I really need like shoes... and then tacking on a couple scrap items. It can get out of hand that way too.

I have my own credit cards so he doesn't see how much I spend. Then I hide packages mostly.

He took me to an outlet while we own vacation and I showed him I purchased two motorcycle die cuts and a deer die cut for scraping his LO.

I DO! And just how did Amazon sucker everyone in? Maybe I don't really need to know that on second thought.

Oh my word! Really? I can't imagine my husband doing that, but he will buy me for birthday or Christmas my wish list. He doesn't know what the stuff is for. He picked up a large stylus I have, it's actually a Clyde modeling tool and asked me what it was for. So I demonstrated how I make flowers from paper. He said "thank you for the tutorial"

He has some very expensive hobbies. So he never says anything except when we were switching office spaces he said you have a lot of stuff. LOL you should see the stuff he has!

he knows more than many scrapbookers! now obviously he has no clue on 'cute'.. he just listens to me ooh and ahh on things and makes a mental file.. But, he's got me who is an addict and our oldest is 13 and she has more scrapbook stuff than many adult scrappers, so he's got two of us to appease..lol

When trying to "sell" DH on my spending sprees, I choose one of three routes:

*I remind him that I'm the one who operates the laundry machines.
* I remind him of his recent spree.
* I arrange an agreement of "favors. " When in doubt, always arrange favors.
