Journaling Reads: This is your favorite game to play outside. On nice days we use chalk to draw circles from the end of the driveway to the beginning and write a letter in each circle. Right now you are working on lower case letters. (Capital letters came easy, but lower case have been a challenge!) I will say the phonics sound and you will run to the correct letter. It’s a very fun way o quiz you on your letters and sounds. You beam with pride each time you get one correct. You have even started teaching Eleanor her letters by playing the game with her!
