Description: This was a difficult LO to do. I consider it my "rough draft" because I may tweak the journaling a little bit. It is about my journey in becoming a mother.
Journaling:
In the beginning on my journey to Motherhood I really had alot of changing to do. The first few months of being a stay at home mom were somewhat agonizing. I was bored out of my mind. Yes, I had you to take care of and yes it was a lot of work and big YES I definately loved you but I was so used to a totally different lifestyle filled with demands, pressures, deadlines. Now my days were filled with dirty diapers, spit up, crying and waiting around for you to wake up and eat. I was torn. Part of me wanted to just work outside the home. Afterall, I kind of liked being insanely busy. But part of me could not give up my days with you. I wanted to be the one who fed you, clothed you, changed your dirty diapers. So I began praying...Day After Day...that God would change my heart. That He would make me the Mother that He wanted me to be. It took a very long time but eventually I began to really truly enjoy spending time at home. I enjoyed doing things with you, playing with you, reading you books and watching you learn. I enjoyed being able to keep the house clean and having dinner ready for Daddy when he got home. I enjoyed my new job as a Homemaker. I saw the blessedness in serving my family and sacrificing so much of my wants to provide for all of your needs. It is more blessed to give than receive. I have been blessed more than I could ever tell by loosing my life for the sake of what God has called me to do. I found my life, my calling.

I work and go to school, but when I was on maternity leave I had the same dilemmas...I was going stir crazy at home...and then I felt guilty for just wanting to get away from it all....I really enjoyed reading this....TFS....Really a Gorgeous piece of ART!
ok... just flipping through your gallery and got stopped at this one again. i know i've already commented, but had to again. that "day after day after day" title with the repeated picture is just so brilliant. this really is incredible. you have to send me a PM and tell me how you got those lines going down the pictures like that. LOVE that!
