What a great way to use argyle paper! That dejected walking-away-from-the-broken-club photo has me in stitches! Oh, heck, the whole layout has me laughing! Poor guy!
I love this - it's hilarious. Love the plaid pp with the golf photos - only thing I might change is the color of the title - something darker would stand out more I think.
OMG, Brenda. I love this LO...I mean everything about it. I love the pictures, the placement, the composition, the colors, but best of all I love the story. The argyle print on the paper is perfect and I love the way you replicated it with the journaling block, date block, and title, heck even the "w" has its own little argyle diamond. PERFECTION, dahhhhling! Not to mention, your hubby is a hotty and I'm enjoying the view, if you smell what I am cookin'! Great job! Goin' to my favs, babe.
Very funny story! I really like the placement of everything, the title is brilliant and the colours work so well! I also agree with K about the matting but otherwise fantastic LO!
Awesome! Love the placement of the title vertically down the left, then the photos, then the story. Excellent journaling. No critiques from me (FYI, I used that same tartan paper for a golf LO years ago but it was merely a driving range & certainly not as fabulous a LO...)
This is too funny! I absolutely love the title. The photo placement couldn't have been any better. This pp is perfect for this page. I would not change a thing!
LOL! That's too funny. The title for this LO is beyond perfect and your materials are very golf... I will have to agree with K about the matting. It's a little off that you did it vertically but not horizonally... Other than that it's perfect.
Brenda you are so talented. Your photo placement is bang on, and I mean bang on. I love the tartan and the diamonds everywhere. And the sewing, how much I love the sewing. And the story. Okies, I love everything.
The only tidbit is that I would have like to see the matting equal everywhere, including in between the photos. You don't have space vertically but horizontally so I would have either done no space, or space. Awesome job girl!
LMAO! Brenda, once again you've created a great LO! I have to say that with this one, my favorite is the photos, especially that last dramatic one. Your journaling fills in all of the details very clearly and completes a wonderful LO. Oh and the PP, I think my grandpa used to have some golf pants that had that pattern so it was PERFECT pp for this! Great job!
This is for the SHCG Week #21 WC which was to create a lo to enter in the Storytelling category of the Lucky 7 Contest. Journaling reads: "Whyyy?!" you cried expressing utter betrayal and dejection. We were on the 13th hole of what had proven to be a challenging course. You were taking a practice swing with your favorite driver, the Cleveland Launcer, when your club head hit the ground with such force, it snapped the shaft in half. Your reaction was quite dramatic and comical when you finally realized what had just happened. A year of 300-yard drives came to an abrupt halt in that moment, and so did that beautiful Saturday afternoon. Location: Monarch Bay Golf Course Date: 04.28.07
