This is for the Scrapvivor Week #3 challenge. We had to use one photo, visible title, visible or hidden journaling, chipboard(not letters), and lots of "bling".
We had a tragic event happen this week. Our pet Chihuahua, Cinderella died. My girls wanted me to make something that they could frame and hang on their wall. I didn't have much "bling" in my scrapbook stash, so the girls donated some items. The jewels were from a project they had made at church during Vacation Buble School. The title is stitched from metallic gold DMC cross-stitch thread with a heart sequin to dot the i. The pink flower is a ponytail holder with the loop cut off the back! It is covered with beads and sequins. The striped flowers are hand cut chipboard covered with K & Co. paper, sanded edges, and glazed with gold glitter from my art stash. The girls are writing their own personal notes to attach to the back before I frame it. Under her picture is "September 2003 - August 2006".
It is much brighter and shinier than this is real life. I took a picture of it rather than scanning it because all the glitter and gold items were scanning black.
