Description: I thought the Volcano would be good made with Pier Seaside (Ruche, or Crepe Textured Cardstock, 65# Cover) as the base and Making Memories Sparkle Adhesive Paper in red for the lava.

That Sparkle Adhesive does not cut well, I had to use an exacto to extract it even after 6 passes, but it just looks so pretty!

The Ruche, or Seaside, is not easy to cut either, because of the texture it tends to lift up from the mat if there are any inside cuts on a cut. If it's just an outline and it's very tight to the mat (one side holds better than the other) it can do simple shapes like this, but if your paper needs repeated passes, it's tougher, as it's likely to lift up at some point.

Created June, 2008.
