Description: Journaling says:While waiting for Grandma to finish her doctor’s appointment, Natalie and I decided to browse the gift shop at Bronson. To our surprise, we came across this purple poodle. I’m not sure who was more excited to see it, me or Natalie. She’s been asking for a purple poodle to add to her collection of pink poodles for quite a while now. We bought it and Natalie hugged it all the way out to Grandma’s car. On the way home, Grandma asked Natalie what she was going to name her poodle. Natalie told her “Water”. I was a little surprised with that answer since most of the time she says, “Polly”, “Maggie” or “Daisy”. Later on that same evening, I decided to read the Ty tag attached to the poodle’s ear. Its name and description said…
Demure
The name poodle comes from the German word PUDELN, meaning “to splash in the water”
I found it so ironic that Natalie named her poodle “Water” and the meaning of poodle refers to water
