Description: I used Gretel Paper and the Daisy Ready, Set Chipboard. I ‘fudged’ a second ‘L’, by placing a Heidi Swapp ghost heart in pink, over the seam. Bye, bye to that former ‘T’. There are little micro-crystals in the center of each of the daisies on the chipboard letters.
It is placed inside and sewn onto a clear page protector. Because of the double sided paper and clear elements, the alternate side is actually a fully functioning page as well. I haven’t finished it yet, but it shows a picture of her great, great, great grandmother – whom she takes after. The reverse of these papers suited a heritage page perfectly.
There is a lot of pen detailing with soufflé pens in white and grey. I was inspired by the dots that went all around the clock face. I also freehanded some swirls with Ranger Glossy Accents and highlighted these with a Krylon Gold Leafing Pen, the soufflé pens and micro crystals.
I printed the photo out in black and white. But I used Ranger Antique Linen Distress Ink on the photograph to make it more cream/black, except for her eyes, which I left their natural color by exposing the color layer underneath the black and white copy in Photoshop. I used that same ink, over Broken China ink to color the chipboard parentheses.
